Leda joined Corcoran Sawyer Smith in 2017 and quickly rose to become a top producer earning a reputation as a knowledgeable, accommodating yet tenacious Realtor. She navigates through complex deal structures and zoning issues with patience and expertise. Leda has listed and sold some of the most notable historic and exquisite homes in Downtown Jersey City with record-breaking sales numbers and holds the NJ Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence-Platinum Level Award, the highest level of achievement. Leda’s meteoric rise to become one of the most trusted names in the business is in part due to her commitment and dedication to the communities around her. She believes in keeping her community a thriving place and has served as a board member of her neighborhood association and advocated for the betterment of Jersey City public schools and safer streets. In 2011 Leda was granted the Jersey City Woman of Action Award given annually by the Mayor of Jersey City. Prior to becoming a realtor, Leda worked in Business Development in London NYC for a Bond Rating Agency and an Interior Design Studio. She also managed a non-profit organization based in Lima, Peru where she was raised. She attended University in London, England and holds a Master’s in Latin American International Studies, she has traveled extensively around the world. She speaks English, Spanish and Italian. The warmth she exudes even during a difficult transaction and her ability to see matters through the eyes of her clients are as innate as her love for meeting different people and experiencing different cultures. She resides in the Hamilton Park neighborhood with her husband, two children and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Indy).

My husband and I have dealt with Leda Duif over the years and I cannot say enough about her. She is not only a local resident but possesses knowledge, insight and lots of understanding. We have rented our apartment through her and have had total success with the renters over the years. We also sold a condo with Leda as our agent and could not be happier. She knows the area well and the housing market. She is such a delightful person to deal with and I would not think of changing realtors in the future. I highly recommend her services, you will not be disappointed.

Working with Leda Duif to sell my house was an exceptional experience! Leda went above and beyond for us. She patiently guided us through every single step, and was not only extremely professional in all her dealings but proved to be a great friend when the unavoidable doubts or anxieties arose during the selling/staging process. We were very intimidated about selling our charming but imperfect row house in a crazy market, but Leda walked us calmly and expertly through each step along the way. Months before we officially put the house on the market, she helped us figure out which repairs and improvements to prioritize (and which not to worry about), and she lined up outstanding contractors who did exceptionally high-quality work for very reasonable prices. By the time we went to market, the house, staging, photos, and marketing materials looked gorgeous, and we had a buyer offering significantly over asking within just a few days. When that buyer turned out to be a difficult one, Leda worked us calmly through each bump along the way, putting her extensive knowledge and connections to work to overcome each obstacle. She is warm but always honest and direct, and she let us make every decision on our own—though we quickly learned to take her advice as often as possible, since she knows exactly what she is doing!
