About Leland

Locally raised, Kathe and Leland Wallace have been Realtors in Manatee County since 1987. Leland's family lived on Holmes Beach and Kathe's family built in Bayshore Gardens in the late fifties. They both graduated from Manatee High School and attended the University of Florida. Kathe's father was a Realtor in Bradenton and Kathe, after moving away, got her license in 1974 in Lawton Oklahoma. Upon moving back to Bradenton, they started in the real estate business as a Team and have helped Thousands of families fulfill their real estate needs. A very large percentage of their business comes referrals from past clients and friends. Their extensive knowledge of This community where they grew up has helped people move into the area that best fit their wants, needs and dreams.


In February 2001 they partnered with Jim and Julie Warrender and opened Keller Williams Realty of Manatee. They currently have their main office near I-75 on State Road 64. The Keller Williams training and education system is made available to all their agents and covers training for new, as well as experienced agents. The Business, Organizational and Economic models developed by Gary Keller and taught at Keller Williams University are heralded as among the industry's best. Both Kathe and Leland have GRI designations (Graduate of Realtor Institute)...less than 5% of all Realtors have attended the necessary classes to receive their GRI's. Kathe & Leland have attended local and regional training and have even traveled to the headquarters in Austin, Texas to take advantage of the classes provided. This extra knowledge will help them better service their friends and clients to help them meet their real estate goals. The Keller Williams System has helped "team wallace" maintain its' focus, set their priorities and have clarity of issues for their Mission, Vision, Values, Beliefs and Perspective in their real estate profession.
