Leo Desselle, Broker/Owner of Pennant Real Estate, epitomizes hard work, integrity, and creative service in every aspect of the real estate process. Growing up in New Orleans, Leo developed his strong work ethic at a young age by helping his mother run her successful tourism business. By age 10, after school, football or martial arts practice, and homework, he was cleaning tour vans—laying the foundation for the discipline that defines his career today.

An accomplished athlete, Leo earned a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo, later advancing to a brown belt in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, and even winning a gold medal in Judo at the Junior Olympics. His dedication carried through high school at Archbishop Shaw (Class of 2002) and into college, where he played football for LSU from 2002–2007. In 2003, he proudly helped the Tigers win a National Championship.

After graduating from LSU in 2007, Leo obtained his real estate license and has spent the last 18 years building a thriving career. His sales have grown consistently year after year, placing Pennant Real Estate in the top 2% of all 735 local Baton Rouge real estate companies. Leo leads a team of more than 30 Realtors, training and motivating them to deliver exceptional service, communication, and results.

Faith and family remain at the core of Leo’s life. He is devoted to God, his wife Leslie, and their three children. Together, he and Leslie, who is also a Realtor, manage Pennant Real Estate while sharing a passion for health and fitness. Both have competed in CrossFit competitions, and Leo can often be found in the gym or supporting his kids’ activities.

Over the years, Leo has been inspired by great mentors like Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnegie, and Robert Kiyosaki. He has also cultivated strong relationships with local lenders, appraisers, and inspectors, allowing him to proactively anticipate challenges and guide clients seamlessly from the first call to the closing table.
