He is positive, upbeat and timely in his responses to one's questions and needs. Even the uncertainty of the covid crisis did not faze Leonard. He is professional, and man of integrity. I have known Leonard for over eight years in his capacity as a realtor. He helped us sell my in-laws home in Kailua 7 years ago, sold our rental in Nanakuli three years ago and is now selling our townhouse in Makakilo. Leonard knows real estate and has been able to guide us through all three sales. We've been very happy with his services and would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to sell. My wife and I have followed Leonard's impressive work and exceptional sales results for more than 30 years. He is a consummate professional and clearly the turn-to expert on the local housing market. We turned to Leonard Couzine when it came time to sell our townhouse. We are totally amazed at what Leonard has accomplished for us in just over a month. Within 5 days of listing we received 9 scheduled viewers, 2 of whom made offers. One of those offers came in well above our asking price. My husband and I met Leonard Couzijn 18 years ago when he was the listing agent for a condo in Makakilo Cliffs that we were renting at the time. After speaking with Leonard he helped us to see on paper that for just a little more than what we were paying for rent we could afford to purchase the unit and become homeowners, so we did. After living in the unit for so many years, we decided it was time to look for a larger home and knowing we needed someone that we felt we could trust to help us make that big move we called on Leonard once again to help us. Even though we hadn't seen him in 18 years, within minutes of talking to him, he was able to tell us where the unit we had bought from him was and who he sold it for...how impressive is that! After taking us to numerous open houses, we had our hearts set on a house with some permitting issues and the closing was a long and time consuming one. Leonard patiently walked us through each step giving us good advice and making sure we didn't rush and make foolish decisions. He helped find us a great mortgage broker and together they helped us close on our dream home. Two months after we were settled in our new home, we were ready to sell our old condo Leonard did our listing and within 3 weeks he sold it! The homeowners notified us that they intended on selling during Covid, The home needed many repairs. Afraid to be displaced during the pandemic, we were ready to buy as is at a higher price. He communicated with the seller's agent and got them to do mold remediation and fix some issues before we bought, ensuring we had a safe and healthy environment for our children.
