About Lillian
Lillian Denhardt has been a residential realtor since 2016. She bought her first home, a sweet little Victorian rowhouse in Garfield, without an agent in 2013, so she knows the feeling of having big dreams but not being sure how to start making them come true.
Prior to embarking on her real estate journey, she worked as an urban planning consultant specializing in public participation. That experience took her all over Pittsburgh, instilling an understanding and appreciation for neighborhood quirks and variation in local character throughout the region. Her prior professional life taught her to actively listen and ask questions that help her clients clarify their own needs and boundaries. Her work also taught her the importance of quantitative neighborhood research in creating a match between her clients and the neighborhoods they call home.
Her love of Pittsburgh's many neighborhoods may be rivaled by her love of old home reconstruction. In addition to renovating the homes she's lived in with the help of her contractor father and carpenter partner, she's also currently performing a gut renovation of a future rental. She knows that being responsible for a home's condition can sometimes feel intimidating, but her grasp of construction methods helps her clients evaluate any home they've set their sights on.
Regardless of her clients' budgets or levels of expertise, she promises (1) to actively listen throughout the relationship, allowing space for change, (2) to advocate for them firmly and respectfully to get them to the closing table with everything they need, and (3) to make their experience as stress-free as possible.
