I enjoyed working with Linda to find my new condo. She spent time upfront getting to know me and understanding what I was looking for. She was efficient and made sure we kept momentum throughout the search. When I was ready to put down an offer, she coordinated everything and kept me in the loop. When going through the closing process, Linda again coordinated everything with the attorney and mortgage broker. She was there every step of the way. Hands down, Linda is the best realtor I've ever worked with and the only one I want to work with in the future.

I just went through the process of purchasing a new single-family home with my partner and then selling my condo in Oak Park. Linda made every step clear, manageable, and understandable. With Linda's help we were able to put an offer on a home before it got on the MLS and helped me navigate a multiple offer situation on my condo.

Not only does she have a clear understanding of the market, but she's also nimble in the face of new challenges and opportunities. Her depth and breadth of expertise put me at ease during even the more stressful parts of the process and for that I'm incredibly grateful. If ever asked for a realtor recommendation (and even if not), Linda's is the only name that will come out of my mouth -- she's the best!

I can’t say enough good things about Linda. She worked with us for over a year during a crazy housing market season in 2021-2022 and managed to keep us sane throughout. She is kind, easy to communicate with, she knows her stuff about Oak Park, and she is a great advocate for her clients. If you’re like us and worked previously with a Redfin agent, prepare to be blown away. We were skeptical at first but a good agent is well worth it. Seriously. On top of all that, she found the perfect house for us and offered to show it pre-MLS, rather than it being her listing months down the road and us competing again against crazy offers. Work with her! She’s the best!

Linda was recommended to me by a friend and colleague and I could not have been happier to work with her! We were moving from 3 hours away and had one day to look at rental properties. Leading up to the day of looking she communicated closely with me to send me properties to look at online that matched our needs. The day I came to look at places she had a whole schedule of houses and drove me around to look at the places (even stopped to get me some coffee since it was such a busy day!) She stayed in close contact before, during, and after choosing our rental property. Beyond that she just has such a wonderful personality and makes you feel at ease! When we go to buy a house we definitely will ONLY be using Linda and I highly recommend her to anyone else looking to rent, sell, or buy!

Linda is one of the most experienced, supportive, enthusiastic, and direct partners you could possibly have when selling your home. She was with us every step of the way starting when we first considered selling and wanted her advice on preparing our home for sale. She was an invaluable cheerleader and recommender of fantastic contractors while we worked on the house and searched for a new home out of state. She was then a source of calm during the selling process. She prepared us for every step and was on top of every detail. She is also one of the most thoughtful and kind people I know.

When we started looking to buy a condo, I knew we would need a real estate agent to help us navigate the whole process. It was overwhelming looking for one. There are many real estate agents out there. I ended up following recommendations of other Oak Park’s moms who know Linda and have worked with her. We were so fortunate to have her working with us. I am a worrier, and I tend to get anxious about everything. Especially when there are tons of information about the home buying process. This is the second house sale Linda Rooney has helped me facilitate, and it couldn't have gone smoother. She gave me suggestions from our first meeting on how to make the house more attractive and marketable, which were all spot on. As a result of Linda's suggestions and marketing expertise, my house had over 40 showings in 5 days, 6 offers, and I received nearly $30,000 over the list price. It was a busy but productive process, and Linda was there with me every step of the way. She communicates constantly with her sellers, and is on top of every part of the process. She clearly loves what she does, and that shows in how professionally the transaction is handled. She's a terrific realtor, and a wonderful person. Stellar in every respect. Linda knows the market and the community. She has a feel for the vibe of neighborhoods that goes beyond a mere list of amenities, schools etc. She was very accommodating about repeat walk throughs and had deep knowledge of comps which is very important in a volatile market. She is a source of calm and reassurance in what can be a very stressful undertaking. Her commitment is to finding you the house you want not just selling you any old house. We will always hire Linda Rooney as our realtor. My husband and I bought our house with Linda around five years ago. She was professional yet personable and highly communicative. We decided to sell one of our rental houses this past summer (2021) and through a family connection were advised to use another realtor. We regretted it almost instantly and we are still paying for our mistake, as our house is still not sold. You really don't realize how good someone is at their craft until you experience the opposite.
