About Linda
Linda Zimmerhanzel, founder of Zest Realty, knows that trust is the most important part of a real estate transaction. An agent since 2013 and a licensed broker since 2018, she has managed more than 500 successful transactions, 42 in her first year, for which she won the honor of Rookie of the Year from San Antonio Board of Realtors®. Through them all, she has worked faithfully to earn her clients’ trust through open, honest communication and her expertise. Linda was raised, as a daughter of an Army colonel, to earn her keep, work hard for everything she wanted, and maintain a positive attitude. Her fierce and tireless work ethic ensures that she can and will get the job done.
While studying at Texas A and M University for a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Linda worked as a radio reporter and TV producer. Upon graduation, she moved to Hawaii where she served as an ABC-TV producer. Her journalism experience has given her a pool of skills she regularly draws from in real estate. Research abilities give her an edge in accurately pricing homes and finding the right home for buyers, and problem-solving skills ensure she effectively manages crises and works well under pressure. As the author of nine published novels, Linda has honed her skills as an effective communicator and storyteller, helping her buyers and sellers envision the future while she guides them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
Linda knows that buying and selling real estate is all about making the best strategic decision. This is important for all clients but especially for those who serve actively in the Armed Forces, who often must buy and sell during their posting in San Antonio, known as Military City, USA. She has always gone above and beyond for her clients, empowering them with the most up-to-date data available and giving them the confidence they need to feel good about their choices. Linda’s accessibility is her cornerstone: She’s always nearby via phone call, text, or email.
When Linda isn’t producing results for her clients, she’s spending time with her three grown daughters and the three men in her life: A quarter horse named Dave, a mutt named Huck Finn, and her partner, Sergio, who works alongside her as an agent. She enjoys competing in equestrian eventing when she has time, being with family, and relaxing on vacations. Of course, she never really stops working and even brokered a deal while on the top of Machu Picchu. Determined to make the industry stronger, Linda is an active volunteer with the San Antonio Board of Realtors® and has served in various roles, including as chairperson.
