Lindsey Kennedy

I'm a mom of two beautiful, sweet boys and a wife of 13+ years to my best friend. THAT is what fulfills me and drives me. They are my motivation to be the best that I can be everyday. Children these days face so many more challenges, daily, then I did growing up in the 80's. I figure, if they can be such super heroes in handling their busy lives, I can always find a way to be my best. My youngest has Down Syndrome. Everyday I watch, with amazement, as he works hard to do…everything. Everything is harder for him; sports, school, talking, listening and comprehending, even walking. But everyday he does it all with a huge smile and a heart full of love and joy. And our whole family is so much better for it! It has helped my oldest son have a heart full of compassion, empathy, kindness and love….no small accomplishment for a 10 year old boy! But you can see it and feel it when you're around him. We are all reminded, daily, to be thankful for our many blessings. And to be kind and understanding to everyone because you never know the challenges they face in their lives. I want to be the best example I can be for my boys. I want to show them that hard work, perseverance, kindness, compassion and staying true to who you are will take you wherever you want to go. And if I can do that while pursuing my passion…we'll be living our best lives!
