Lindsey Strickland

Lindsey was born in North Carolina and moved to Florida at the age of 5 – almost a Florida cracker but with southern roots! She has been a resident of Manatee County since 1987.

Lindsey graduated from Bradenton Christian School and headed off to Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL graduating with a degree in Primary/Elementary Education. She taught school at Gene Witt Elementary for six years.

Lindsey joined Team Duncan at the beginning of 2015 as the Director of Business Development. She completed real estate school and received her real estate license in 2017. At that time, Lindsey became a sales assistant for the broker/owner of Duncan Real Estate and continued to work on the marketing side of the business. After six years of learning from and training under the broker/owner to really understanding the real estate business, Lindsey moved into a full-time real estate sales position. Her experience with Duncan Real Estate and also growing up in Manatee County gives her an edge in selling real estate and knowing the area.

Lindsey brings many avenues of experience with owning her own business in Manatee County, The Monogram Market. She also worked for the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. Making connections, building relationships, and working hard is what Lindsey is all about.

Lindsey has given back to the community in multiple ways. She was voted onto the board of the Leadership Manatee Alumni and also served as president of the board. Other boards she has participated on are Manatee Young Professionals, Manatee Chamber Membership Engagement Council, and the Anna Maria Chamber events board.

Lindsey loves to give back and to be involved and serve in the community in which she works and lives. PACE Center for Girls and the Woman’s Resource Center hold a special place in Lindsey’s heart – whenever she can, she volunteers at fundraising events or gives of her time to help these local non-profits in Manatee County.

If you can’t find Lindsey out and about selling real estate, she is enjoying all activities island related! Going to the beach, boating with friends, or watching the amazing sunsets of Anna Maria is what Lindsey loves to do. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her husband Bo! Bo is a wonderful help to Lindsey with her real estate business!!
