About Lisa
Widely recognized for her work ethic, creative energy, and integrity, Lisa Dority has earned a devoted base of repeat and referral clients. Service has always been one of Lisa’s core values, and she has honed the strong interpersonal and negotiation skills she brings to real estate via other people-focused industries. After graduation from Brown University, she started her career as a communications and public relations professional for government agencies and nonprofits. She worked as a community relations and media specialist in Dade County and gained the expertise to create her own communications firm, working with high-level clients, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and The Nature Conservancy. Lisa persistently polishes her skills, remaining current with the latest industry trends through continuing education. To date, she has earned certifications as a Seller Representative Specialist, Pricing Strategy Advisor, and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. Before founding PropertySmart in 2022, Lisa was a top-producing agent at RE/MAX, a member of the Chairman’s Club, and recognized as the top 1% of agents worldwide. She was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2014, and in 2021, she earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from RE/MAX International. An invited member of the Master Brokers Forum of South Florida and the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing Million Dollar Guild, she has built a flourishing career helping buyers and sellers make strategic decisions that lead to a higher quality of life.
In her free time, Lisa volunteers for causes near to her heart, particularly working to end food insecurity for families in Miami. She enjoys gravel bike riding in the Everglades with her husband and hosting loud, boisterous dinners with her large extended family and friends.
