Lisa Mayhew-ortiz

Emily Silverman has been in the real estate field for over 10 years, doing various things. She has collaborated with top producing agents and quickly learned the business. She fell in love with real estate weeks after diving in. She continues to learn and expand her knowledge daily. Aside from real estate, she has a successful photography business that she opened in 2011. She has met and worked with thousands of people in our community. She has grown with families, made friends with wedding couples, and watched children grow. She is extremely passionate about building lasting relationships. She is real, raw, and genuine. She is honest and assures you that she will always put your interests, wants, and needs first. She is a mom to two amazing kiddos. A daughter and son. She is happily married to her childhood best friend.

We have known each other since we were 5 years old! We have a zoo of animals. Four pups, a cat, and a dwarf hamster. She enjoys the little things in life. Lisa is an adventurer and love all things travel related. They only get one life and each day needs to be lived to the fullest. She lives to create memories! Lisa loves camping, road trips, and anything that means she get to pack a suitcase! In her free time, She love binge watching something on Netflix or Hulu. Lisa also loves scrap booking. Her favorite restaurant is Chick-fil-A. Lisa love all things chocolate, and Amazon Prime! She is a country and pop music lover, smashed penny collector, and former high school basketball player. Fun fact. Lisa is half German. She was born there, lived much of my younger life there, and even graduated high school there. Lisa absolutely loves Europe, and a lot of her family still lives there. She is fluent, and although she sounds like a tourist when she speaks the language, Lisa understands just about everything. A piece of her heart will always be in Germany. I have made it a goal to go back every chance she gets. Rainy days are her absolute favorite kind of days. But boy, do she love the gorgeous light our sunrises sunsets offer here in New Mexico. It took her a long time to love and appreciate the desert. And while she does travel and see other places, Las Cruces is definitely home.
