About Lisa
Lisa was born in what was then called West Germany in a town called Bad Cannstatt near Stuttgart. Her father was a dentist in the US Army. Her family eventually settled in the Pacific Northwest where she grew up and went to school in the beautiful town of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. She continued her studies attending Brigham Young University in Utah where she studied education and medicine. She met her husband Donavon while at BYU. Sufficed to say they are HUGE BYU sports fans and travel down to Provo a few times a year to catch a volleyball match, football, or basketball game. Go Cougs!
After Donavon graduated from the Mechanical Engineering program at BYU they moved to Rockford, IL., a town about an hour and a half outside of Chicago. While in Illinois Lisa worked as a loan officer for Amcor Bank. After 5 years in Illinois, they returned to the Pacific Northwest to raise their family. Donavon took a job with Intel, and they settled in Hillsboro, OR. Lisa had the privilege of staying at home to raise their four children. In the Fall of 2007, their youngest child started school and so the opportunity for Lisa to pursue her ambition of becoming a Licensed Realtor began. Donavon joined Lisa in the real estate adventure in 2019. In additional to each of them running their successful real estate businesses, they also purchase, fix up and sell flip properties while also managing a personal rental property.
Lisa has always enjoyed being active and living in the Pacific Northwest. She is a volleyball enthusiast and currently plays on a women's A league division team in the City of Hillsboro Park and Rec club. She plays with a co-ed group that includes her husband and a few of her college aged kids in the summer. Volleyball is Lisa's decompression sport. All the world can fade away while she can play a good competitive volleyball match. Her eldest daughter also loves the sport and played at Glencoe High School. She is now off to college & playing volleyball for fun when she can. Her love of volleyball, like some peoples love of football, basketball, or soccer, takes us to Utah for a weekend annually to watch either the women's BYU volleyball team in the Fall or the men's BYU volleyball team in early spring.
Lisa's children attended Hillsboro Jackson School Elementary, Evergreen Middle school and Glencoe high school where she participated in their many activities from volleyball to tennis to choir and the Robotics team.
