I saw many good reviews online about Lisa while I was looking for a real estate agent. I decide to try her since people around me do not have any recommendations. I never met with Lisa prior to the purchasing of the house. After I sent in an inquiry through her website during the day, Lisa gave me a call on the same day to follow up with me. Lisa was very friendly, helpful, responsible, professional, enthusiastic and passionate. The next day and every day, I received listing of townhomes that fits my criteria. I also talked/met with other real estate agents before I made a final decision to work with Lisa. The reason why I chose Lisa because: 1) She is quick in responding to my emails/ questions, almost right away. 2) She is not afraid of troublesome, that she will help with searching for a townhomes when I did not have a clear idea in which area in specific I am looking for; and when I did not do a preapproval in advance. Some agents I talked to do not bother searching for houses until I do a pre-approval. 3) At the showings, Lisa is very professional, she provided me information about the house (i.e. the history of the house, compare the house that was built by the same builder and among the area), and she will walk you through the house, but not leaving it to yourself and wonder around. 4) Go with the buyer’s interest, negotiate on behalf of me to have the seller pay full closing cost and at the same time keep the purchase price low. I was caught in an impossible situation. I was losing my renters, my house had a water leak in the basement, and I lived 1,800 miles away. I was literally freaking out. I did not live in the state and I did not know where to turn. I looked on Zillow and read the review on Lisa Stevens and Vibrant Realty. A reviewer had given them five stars and said that the Vibrant Team had stuck with them for over a year to get a difficult short sale closed. I immediately called Lisa. She had an amazing no nonsense approach and assured me that everything would be alright, something I desperately needed to hear. Within a week she helped me with the leak in the basement, she directed me to have all my communication with the lender funneled through her, and got my house on the market. My house took a year and a half to close and fell out of escrow twice, non of which was Lisa's fault. Each time I thought that I would get a call from Lisa telling me that they were sorry, but had decided to not renew my contract. We chose to work with Lisa after researching and reading the reviews on her. From day 1, she was nothing less than amazing. First time we went out to look at houses, we were knee deep in thick snow...never cancelled or complained. We looked at over 30 houses and Lisa was nothing but honest with us about quality of the homes and knowledge about the neighborhoods, especially the school systems. We were about to close on a house until we found out they had a second mortgage in which they failed to tell anybody about that killed the deal. I started looking to sell my house shortly after the market crashed which was unfortunate. Lisa and I came up with a plan and a way to ride the market out for awhile and it worked. About a year ago we finally had the house sold but through some shotty legal work my lawyer messed up the sale after a cancelled contract for deed which Lisa helped me set up and helped me pay the bills for 2 years. We had a furnace go out with no living on the property and the team walked into a foot and a half of water in the basement. I was referred to Lisa by a friend who had also worked with her on a short -sale was well. Lisa and her team were fabulous! I've purchased and sold a few homes over the years working with Lisa was by far the best experience I've had in the real estate process. I'd purchased a new home shortly before the market crashed, and the buyer of my old home backed out of the deal. I rented the property for a year, but really needed to sell it quickly. Lisa and her team, especially Sallie Martin, were outstanding. Sallie is a great negotiator - she's very professional and also compassionate. If you are undecided on whether to chose Lisa Stevens as your real estate agent..think no more!! I highly recommend Lisa and her team at Vibrant Realty . Here's why: 1) Lisa helped us short-sale our house a few years ago and she did a great job getting our home sold quickly. 2) When we were finally ready to buy again we contacted Lisa. Throughout our house hunting journey we were impressed that she always arrived before we did to showings and she was prepared with details about the houses. 3) Since we are picky buyers, we nip picked at just about everything! Lisa was so patient with us and never once made us feel like she like we were wasting her time. We saw so many houses...we lost count! 4) Then when we finally found the home we wanted she did such a wonderful job helping us get the house even when there were multiple offers. Her negotiation skills are second to none! 5) Here is the best part! Prior to closing Lisa noticed that the seller added street assessment to the closing cost. This meant that we would have had to bring $1800 to closing. However, Lisa took it upon herself and fought to make sure we did not have to pay it because the seller's did not disclose the assessment early on. Yes, and she won!! Or should I say, we won! She will negotiate on your part and sell your home, sometimes quickly. It all depends on each situation and the circumstances. She knows who to contact and how to get all of the answers to all of your questions. She is consistently dealing with short-sales and foreclosures. Lisa helped sell my home through a short sale and 2 years later She helped me get into a wonderful home. She is realistic and won't influence you for her benefit.
