About Lisa
Lisa has spent the past 36 years working at Pat’s Hair Fashions in Montesano as a hairdresser. This was a career that taught her about service, trust, reputation, consistency and… confidentiality. She loved her work but unfortunately, standing in place for 10+ hours a day 6 days a week started to take a toll on her body, and she knew she needed to find a new career.
A friend of hers worked at Riley Jackson Real Estate and suggest she talk to the owner (Paul Strawn). She was very interested in real estate and after several meetings with Paul, she decided it was a good fit. Breaking the news to her 36 years of hair customers was hard but they all supported her and ended up transitioning to be her best real estate clients.
She married her high school sweetheart in 1984 and has 2 children and 2 grandbabies (so far). During her off time, her husband and she enjoy kayaking, hiking, tent camping and riding the backroads in their side-by-side UTV. She loves to golf but doesn't get to do it as much as she would like.
Traveling has been her 2nd love (family first) and over the past 40 years, she has been fortunate to check off her travel list places like; Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Mexico, Ireland, Iceland, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Canada, The Caribbean, and The Bahamas. It’s a big world!
She has 3 years of real estate experience under her belt and has placed consistency in the top 1% for sales in the company with a focus on representing sellers as a Listing Broker (there is a difference). Working with home sellers allows her to focus on what she loves and do best by presenting successful solutions in an ever-changing real estate market. There are two sides to a sale and successfully working with the buyer’s broker to close a sale requires strong communication skills and full understanding of the complex contracts that are presented in today’s purchase agreements.
