I believe a client should know an agent's credentials before deciding on whom to work with during such a major process as buying or selling a home. I am a fulltime BROKER, a licensing step above real estate agent. I earned the Accredited Buyer's Agent status, certified as such by the National Association of REALTORS® only after completion of specialized training, comprehensive testing, and verified experience. In addition, I earned the Graduate REALTOR® Institute designation after successfully completing 90 hours of classes specified by the NAR. I have an assistant (my daughter) who is also a licensed REALTOR® and BROKER. We both have bachelor and master's college degrees. My husband recently retired from teaching and has now joined our real estate practice, as well. In 2012, I opened my own brokerage, Riverbend Realty. Prior to that, I earned a number of Century 21 awards including Century 21's top award, Centurion Producer (2009 through 2011), as well as the local board's Pinnacle Award for sales volume.
