She is a graduate of Appalachian State University's Industrial Technology Program. She majored in Appropriate Technology and focused on Sustainable Building, Solar, Wind, and Hydro technology and Sustainable Development. She enjoys sharing the information she learned in college to help educate people on the benefits of Appropriate Technologies. While in college, she also studied construction, woodworking, welding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and drafting. After building two houses and renovating many more, she can offer helpful suggestions for getting the best bang for your buck and is happy to recommend quality service providers. Staying involved in her community is very important to her. Presently, she serves on the Mountain Alliance board. She has served on Boone's Affordable Housing Task Force, MountainKeepers board, Riverkeeper advisory board, Boone Planning commission, and the Boone Town Council for two years. She is the proud mother of two sons who attend Watauga County schools and stay active by snowboarding and playing soccer. She enjoys playing guitar, singing, hiking, kayaking, and cooking in her spare time. When working with Sellers, she offers superior service in marketing and advertising.
