With all of the recent media attention on the industry, it is important to differentiate true professionals from the mass of other so called "realtors". With Lori's background and education, she could have chose any path for her career, but I feel fortunate that representing buyers and sellers was her choice. Lori Johanneson has been both an effective and pleasant Real Estate Broker who has delivered. We signed up with her on May 19, 2024 to sell our home in North Naperville. And, we had a buyer/seller approved sale contract on June 3rd, 2024. Of course, the actual closing took a few more weeks, but at that time, the attorney is mostly involved rather than the agent.

A lot happens between signing up and the sale, which is where Lori came through. She had an already organized team: Stager to give us very specific updates to the home. There was also a person exclusively managing the scheduled interactions with both her team and potential buyer showings, including the Open House. They use a easy to use phone based app. Above all, Lori was only a phone call away to guide us and answer our questions. Team effort to get through the hectic few weeks.

I would recommend Lori to list a house based our positive experience. I feel she would bring similar skills to the table if you wanted to buy a house too.

She helped us find our first home (she made it a breeze and helped simplify everything!), and then helped us sell it 5 years later when we decided to move out of state. I had the pleasure of working with Danielle (Lori's team) through the home buying process. My wife and I were new to this process and contacted multiple agents to look for a home suitable for us. We were introduced to Lori and her team by a family member, and we are so glad we were! We were in a terrible situation with building a home, and had already sold our condo in the city--so we were living in temp housing with our new baby.

She and her team guided us through every step and really listened to what we were looking for. Every single showing that Mary and Lori accompanied us to, was great.
