My husband and I decided to try and become first time home buyers during one of the most volatile times for rates, in the middle of a massive housing shortage…while living in one of the hottest markets in the the country. Hopeful Buyers were making 30/40 offers while offering 100K+ sight unseen too secure homes.

Looking back on our 7, almost 8 month journey, my husband and I know without a shadow of doubt, had we not had the AMAZING broker team that we did (Lori and Jess!!!) it’s very possible that we would have panicked, retreated and missed out on our family’s beautiful first home.

Working with Property Specific Realty was the best experience ever! Our agents Lori Webb and Carrie Richardson were our contacts at Property Specific Reality. They were both exceptional realtors and their insight and understanding of our specific needs was excellent. Moving from NY and not knowing much about NC, we needed a lot of direction and help in choosing our new property. Our main agent was Carrie and I have never worked with someone so professional , kind and accommodating. Carrie made our move to NY seamless. She followed up on every aspect of our new house purchase. She came to every meeting with the builder and took notes on all our visits. Ryan made my experience moving to North Carolina from out of state such a pleasant experience. I had a terrible time trying to get ahold of people/agencies to get information on rental properties. I just purchased my first home and I never thought I would get here. I had been searching for the better part of two years and never quite found the one (the one in my budget and the one that was going to be comfortable growing into). I also struggled with finding a realtor that I clicked with. A friend recommended Carrie as she helped her with her first home purchase. We texted and then Carrie and I had our first call. I knew right then that she was the realtor I had been looking for. During our initial planning to move to the Wilmington area, we became aware of Property Specific Realty and their relocation and real estate knowledge of the coastal area. We were conducting out initial search virtually, with the intention of flying down when we had a good idea of the place we wanted to move to. Janette and her term worked with us throughout the process. Calling and arranging virtual tours for us to view from NJ. When we started, we had little idea where we wanted to be in the Raleigh area. Ali helped us narrow down the area and neighborhoods. When we came to town to check things out Lori took us all over. Andrea, Chris, and Lori all worked together as a team to meet all of our needs with our home purchase in Raleigh and made us feel comfortable through every step of the process. Chris, Lori and their team at Property Specific are amazing to work with and helped us find our perfect home! My husband and I were first time home buyers and did not know where to start when searching for our first home. Chris and Lori went above and beyond to help us understand the whole process of purchasing a home. From showings to submitting offers to understanding home inspections reports to what happens after closing, and everything in between. They were very patient with us, extremely knowledgeable of the area/market trends, answered all of our questions (as first time home buyers, you know we had a lot!) and were there for us every step of the way. Chris and Lori from Property Specific have been incredible to work with. We were in the midst of planning a move, listed our house, got a buyer - but the deal fell through. Weeks later, as the house wasn't selling, and we were already moved into our new home, we reached out to Chris and Lori to see if they could help us get our previous home rented. They were able to get us under contract with a fantastic renter in under four days!! They both know this business so well, and were immediately able to put our concerns at ease.

They've now been managing the property for six months, with no issues. Small things have had to be handled here and there, but Chris and Lori have taken care of things every step of the way for us. You must choose this company for a personal experience! Chris was very helpful in finding me the perfect home and listened to every detail that I wanted! He is very kind and had great knowledge of the area! If you want an agent that does SO much more than just sending tons of listings - this is your guy!
