Lou Ann Martin

Lou Ann was born and raised in Baytown and moved to La Porte in 1984 when she and her husband, Doug, purchased a funeral home that they continue to operate today. This family-owned business, dedicated to providing personalized customer service to the local community, inspired her to pursue a career in real estate.
She and her family settled in La Porte, where the community became an increasingly important part of her life. Lou Ann has served as Chairman of the La Porte Bayshore Chamber of Commerce, Founding Member of the La Porte Education Foundation, Commission Member of the La Porte Planning and Zoning Board, and Board Member of the La Porte Neighborhood Center. She is also active in the La Porte Rotary Club, Bulldog Booster Club, and numerous other organizations.
Raising a family, operating a local business, and engaging in community service naturally led Lou Ann into real estate. She joined Main Properties Real Estate in 1992, where she discovered her passion. Over the past 20 years, she has been a consistent multi-million-dollar producer, became the Broker/Owner of Main Properties in 2005, and has been recognized as a 5-Star Real Estate Agent by Texas Monthly Magazine every year since 2012.
