About Luanne

She came to the city to attend The University of Pittsburgh and found her forever home. Any given weekend in the fall, you’ll find her wearing Gold with Blue or Black, depending on if it’s Saturday or Sunday. She is an Italian American and it is not really a label — it’s more about a state of mind. She grew up knowing that nothing is as satisfying as a job well done, with a great work ethic and an appreciation for the joy that comes from cooking for friends and family. As is often the case with the realty business, she did not go straight into real estate. After graduating college, she spent 12 years working in corporate America, for both Non-Profits and Large Corporations. One accomplishment she’s very proud of is the Boy Scouts of America hired her as the first female Explorer Executive in Pittsburgh. Eventually, the constraints of a typical corporate workday became impossible for her – she had a newborn who wasn’t well. She tried to come to grips with an industry that did not allow for anything other than the traditional work schedule. Ultimately, she needed flexibility, and she chose a career in real estate.

Career change isn’t easy, but she built her business by doing good work for her buyers and sellers. In the process, she found her passion. This was where she was supposed to be. She joined an agency – Howard Hanna – because she recognized the power in being a part of something bigger, of finding a real estate home. She’s been with Howard Hanna for over 25 years, and has been a Top Producing Agent and Top Listing and Sales Leader for the past 20 years. Being a Multi-Million Dollar Producer and a Champion Club Member are accolades she has earned and wears proudly, but being part of the Howard Hanna President’s Circle for the past 12 years is extra special, as it not only reflects her success as an agent, but also her loyalty to the Howard Hanna brand – agents must have been with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services for at least 15 years. Since then, she has continued to build a business focused on the needs of her clients, and developed her skills to meet the needs of them and other realtors.
