About Luke
Luke Worrell is a fearless leader, team quarterback, and an all-around great guy. Luke specializes in land brokerage and farm management, holding designations as Managing Broker, Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and Accredited Farm Manager (AFM).
Luke’s professional accomplishments have been recognized within the land industry with awards including the 2018 Realtors Land Institute (RLI) Rising Star Award, an annual honor conferred to an aspiring leader. Luke also received the 2017 RLI ALC-to-ALC Networking Award for the largest ALC-to-ALC land transaction nationwide based on sales volume. He is also a member of the 2017, 2018 and 2019 RLI APEX Producers Club, which started in 2017 and includes Land Brokers across the country who met the minimum qualifying annual sales volume of $4M. Luke received the 2016 Illinois Farm & Land Broker of the Year Award from the Illinois Farm & Land Chapter of the RLI, an award selected by peers throughout the state of Illinois within the land real estate profession.
Luke is active within the National RLI where he is currently Vice President Elect. As Vice President, Luke will serve a four-year term on RLI’s Executive Committee, making him the Institute’s 2023 National President. Luke previously served as President for the Illinois Chapter of the RLI, which earned the 2015 Outstanding Chapter Award. He is involved in the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) where he serves as a board member on the Government Affairs Committee. Additionally, Luke is a two-time past president of the Jacksonville Area Association of Realtors.
Locally, Luke volunteers on the Illinois College Agribusiness Program Advisory Board, Morgan County Fair Board, as President of the Jacksonville Kiwanis Club, and within his church. He is committed to lifelong learning; he makes it a priority to participate in ongoing educational opportunities throughout the year to help him continue to be an expert resource for landowners and the ag community, in general.
Luke's fondest childhood memories were built on the family grain and livestock farm where he spent nearly every weekend helping his grandfather with the pigs and his grandmother in the garden. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Illinois College in 2005. He lives in Springfield, Illinois with his wife, Allison, and their two sons.
