A native Portland resident, Madeleine attended Lake Oswego public schools and is a proud graduate of the University of Oregon, earning a B.S. in Recreation & Park Management. While in school, she was active in Delta Gamma and continues to support its philanthropic efforts.

She is an active member of the Multnomah Athletic Club and currently serves on the Social Activities Committee. Additionally, she is a founding board member of Bridge Meadows, a nonprofit organization that bridges seniors and youth, where she has served for 20 years.
