My wife and I recently just bought a house and Makenzie made it so unbelievably easy. From the very beginning she was easily approachable if we had questions and gave us guidance whenever we needed it. She was available to talk to anytime we needed her and throughout the buying process she laid out exactly what was needed. She’s very friendly and knowledgeable and was a fantastic asset to have when looking for homes that would suit our needs. If you would like a hard working realtor who won’t stop until you get the house that you truly want, I would choose Makenzie!

Makenzie was a godsend through the whole experience. My wife and I were first time homebuyers with zero idea of what we were doing. We had chandelier taste with a string light budget and Makenzie was so helpful every step of the way. She listened to what we wanted and needed and showed us some amazing properties, and helped us learn everything we needed to learn as it came up. She gave helpful advice all the way from the first time we talked on the phone, to when we viewed homes, to writing our first offer that got accepted, throughout the closing process, and even after closing! Before signing on with Makenzie, my wife and I were about to toss in the towel. We had been searching in Missouri since February and had 7 offers turned down between then and June. We decided to start the search in Illinois and my wife selected Makenzie based on her social presence and knowledge of the areas we wanted to search in.

Start to finish, selecting to work with Makenzie was hands down the best decision we made. She does things our prior realtor just didn't. Walk around the perimeter, discuss tax estimates, and our favorite - gave us a number range she believed potential homes would sell for, which was a key factor in making our offer.

We put our 8th offer in, the first one in Illinois, and now I can write a review from my first house! Whenever we need anything after closing, such as appliance proof of purchase or handyman referrals - Makenzie is still a valuable resource and partner to help us out.

Choosing the right realtor is very important, cut down on the research time and choose Makenzie!!!

Makenzie has made my home selling process so extremely easy! Based on the location and asking price of my home I was not sure if it would sell. She not only stood by my asking price but also pointed me in the right direction with everything decision I made. She didn’t just act like my realtor she made a point to be a friend. As scary as the home buying process is, she is making it a lot easier!! She puts the extra effort in everything she does, from the advertisement while trying to sell a home to sending daily updates on homes for sale in the area I am looking. I get extra texts if she finds a home she thinks I’ll really like and if I do want to see one she is almost always available same day! Don’t choose a realtor in it solely for the money- choose Makenzie who makes the home buying/selling process more personal. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

Makenzie and the whole Beth Ortega at Re/Max Preferred was great to work with. My house sold in 6 days from being listed and Makenzie was right there to answer any and all questions that I had, and I had plenty.
