Malinda Craven was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from UNC-Chapel with a BA in Psychology and Industrial Relations. She has been a real estate broker since 1997 and has worked every aspect of the industry representing sellers, buyers, investors, landlords and tenants in both the residential and commercial markets. She uses her expertise and local market knowledge to guide both national and local clients in their real estate needs. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Fayetteville Regional Association of Realtors, and the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina.
Before real estate, Malinda was a Co-Founder of Smooth Travel a local travel agency. She helped guide the agency from zero to $9,000,000 in sales in 2 years. This company start up gave her management, marketing, public relations, and sales experience that certainly carries over to the real estate business.
Malinda has served on numerous local community boards and organizations including the Junior League of Fayetteville, the Arts Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Fayetteville Area Economic and Development Commission, Wachovia Bank Board of Directors, the Cancer Center, The Child Advocacy Center, The Salvation Army’s Christmas Opportunity, and CEED when it began as the Women’s Center. She is a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, has 3 children, and is married to husband Rich.
