Matthew Gray was a great realtor and advocate. We just sold our place in Hoboken with Matt’s guidance and management, and he made it seamless. Because of COVID, and other unforeseen circumstances, when we first put it on the market a couple of years prior it was a challenge so going back into this process was not an easy decision - and we were quite skeptical. Luckily, Matt provided us with the confidence and the tools needed to sell our home and he went above and beyond during the closing process to ensure that the closing happened in a timely manner without any implications. Even during moments of stress - which often comes during the selling/buying process no matter which side you are on, Matt was able to talk my husband and I through all of our options so we could make the best, most informed decision possible. Matt helped me close on my first two-family property in Jersey City after a year-long search. We were challenged by low inventory and extremely competitive offers in what is currently a seller’s market, but he helped secure a great investment property that met all of my criteria and fell within my budget.

Matt is extremely well-researched. He knew my goals for this investment property and helped me target a growth area of the city that is still reasonably priced but has several development projects launching in the near future that will bring value to the area.

When it came time for best and final offers, Matt was very in touch with the listing agent and aware of our competition. I saw value in the property and was considering extending beyond my original budget, but he negotiated a deal that was 15k below my intended offer when there were multiple interested buyers. Matt’s awareness of the buying process was a big reason why I was able to secure my property when there were multiple offers on the table. He put me in a great position to hedge my bet while ensuring I didn’t miss an opportunity to counter offer.

Matt is very conscious of his clients’ needs and has the patience to help find the best property. He was frequently in contact, sending me relevant options as soon as they became available and was highly responsive when I wanted to schedule viewings. It is very obvious that he is dedicated to his job and he is becoming a known name in the real-estate industry, recently being recognized among top NestSeekers agents in the country.

I bought a Single Family home in 2021 in Wyckoff, NJ. I had the pleasure of working with Matt from December 2020 through September 2021 - roughly 10 months, a length of time that most realtors are not willing to go for their clients. But Matt is not like most realtors, he is patient, has his clients best interest in mind, and is looking for a long term solution for his clients. The home buying process is a stressful one, but having a realtor of Matt's caliber in your corner certainly relieves most of those stressors. Matt drove us through snow storms, and viewed well over 30 homes with us over this 10 month period. For 10 straight months, he was always incredibly responsive via call/text/email, in fact most of the time he was the one prompting the conversation with us. One of the aspects I enjoyed about working with Matt the most is his ability to educate, provide professional insight and his honest opinion on homes, neighborhoods, towns, home layouts etc. As a first time home buyer I was completely oblivious to many of these factors, but after several showings with Matt I felt myself becoming more and more prepared. I could go on and on about how great Matt was to work with, but a true testament to all the hard work he put in to our home buying experience is that we ended up in the exact right home, in the exact right town, at the exact right price!
