Marcela was born in 1957 in Brno, Czechoslovakia (now known as Czech Republic) under the scourge of communism. No rights or citizenry actions (travel, etc,) were allowed unless given the permission of the communist government.

Her father, Milos, realized that there was no future for his daughters there and so hatched a plan to escape. Risking all that they had, including their lives, they travelled from Yugoslavia for 4 days evading armed militia and minefields, over mountains and through rivers, to finally land in Austria.

This experience taught her self denial, perseverance, and to never surrender to a foe that is bent on destroying her. She believes that without being allowed the freedom that this country provides, only tyranny will prevail. In short, she fights for those she loves and those that are loyal to her. She will fight with that same determination for you too.

Once arriving in America, Marcela finished her middle school studies and high school studies in Redondo Beach, CA.

She then attended El Camino college in Torrance, CA. and received her degree in Interior Design. Once again, another attractive vocation that fits nicely into her grand design.

She decided that Real Estate was where her heart was destined. She studied and took her test in 1989. She has practiced Real Estate off and on since that time.

She took a break from Real Estate to raise a daughter that is now an accomplished Biologist with the United Staes Geological survey in Bio Accumulation of Toxic Metals in Natural Waterways in this country.

She now resides in Castaic, California having accomplished quite a lot for the community. As a member of the Castaic Education Foundation she has raised tens of thousands of dollars to assist our schools in becoming some of the finest in Los Angels County.

In closing, she has far surpassed any one persons dreams given the meager circumstances that she was born into. She is to be celebrated!
