Having lived in Charlotte for over 20 years, it has been impressive to witness how the Queen City has evolved. Marcia has moved to Charlotte from Baltimore in 2000 after graduating from Towson University, advancing into the role of Office Manager for the team Chiropractor for the Carolina Panthers for many years. (Go Panthers!) In 2004, she met her best friend and future husband, and they married in 2005. When they started their family, she chose to stay at home for several years to savor family time while her boys were little. Continuing to serve in the development of new staff and account management in chiropractic offices part-time, Marcia was driven for something more and started an online skincare business with Rodan + Fields in 2013. These years "at home" proved to be professionally formative years for her. She was able to broaden her network as well as her skill set in sales, marketing, and team leadership through her Rodan + Fields business. In early 2017, the ideal time and opportunity presented itself and she took a leap into real estate. This career has seamlessly blended her personal and professional strengths, which foster a fulfilling work-life balance. Marcia unique personal experience with relocation, moving from Maryland to North Carolina, as well as several moves within the Charlotte area, has deepened her compassion for those who are transitioning from one place to another and inspires her to be the trustworthy advocate her clients expect and deserve throughout their home buying or selling process.
Interests
In Marcia’s free time you will find her exercising at Burn Boot Camp, reading books that promote a growth-oriented mindset, meeting up with friends for coffee, and volunteering on their neighborhood HOA board. She loves spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their chocolate lab, Dunkin. As a family, they enjoy traveling to new places together, dining out, immersing themselves in local events, going on long walks, watching their favorite sports teams (Carolina Panthers and University of Kentucky Wildcats) and spending warm sunny days outside by their pool.
