Hello, let me introduce myself….My name is Marcie Hertz and I am a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Maverick Realty, licensed since 1994. I thoroughly enjoy listing and selling real estate and consider it a privilege to work with the wonderful people who become my clients. In this small town, clients become friends since we frequently see each other in all facets of life.
I feel fortunate to wake up every day in my hometown of Livingston, Montana. In high school we declared to live in “Deadrock” however, I’ve since realized that I wouldn’t want to live, have raised our children, or grow old anywhere else! I am a third generation Montanan who’s families both homesteaded in Paradise Valley. My father’s family, the Pfohls, homesteaded in Tom Minor Basin and the old stone school house where my grandmother taught is still standing. I graduated from Park High School in 1978, married in 1981, have two wonderful kids and two crazy Jack Russell terriors. Our daughter Ashley is in love with her career choice of interior design and our son Brenden, who is just out of high school, is fulfilling his dream of skiing and working at Whistler, British Columbia. He promises to be in college next year! With the kids gone, we are entertained by the dogs and just beginning to imagine the idea of being empty-nesters. Did anyone say travel?
During my real estate career, I’ve enjoyed being a member of the Park County Board of Realtors, Montana Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. I was a founding volunteer member of the Livingston Education Foundation and spent 4 years on its board of directors. Thanks to the very generous donations of the Livingston community, this fabulous volunteer organization has done an amazing job of supporting Livingston schools through grants. www.livingstoneducationfoundation.org
