About Marcy

A Charlotte native, Marcy Basrawala has intimate community knowledge of the unique neighborhoods and has enjoyed watching the growth and change over the years.

After graduating from Appalachian State University, Marcy pursued her Master’s in Public Health at the University of South Carolina.

She moved to Chicago in 2000 for her husband's residency in Urology. During that time, she worked in health policy at the American Medical Association.

In 2007 Marcy relocated to Charlotte and has lived in Dilworth ever since. Marcy is a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and Served on the Board of Child's Place as the chair of the Philanthropy Committee.
