Maren Brisson-Kuester

Maren Brisson-Kuester believes you must have a true passion for what you do. Outside of her family, real estate is that passion. Her clients’ goals are always her top priority. Whether guiding the purchase of a new home or strategically marketing a property for sale, Maren works side-by-side with her clients to help them achieve exceptional results. She believes in building lifelong relationships and takes great pride in serving generations of families over time.
Born in Charlotte and raised in Weddington, NC, Maren attended the University of South Carolina before returning home to begin her professional career in marketing. In 2003, she earned her real estate license and launched what would quickly become one of the most respected careers in the region. She achieved Top Producer status early on and has remained one of her firm’s leading producers since 2006.
Maren’s leadership within the real estate industry has distinguished her at the local, state, and national levels. She served two terms as President of the Charlotte Regional REALTOR? Association (2015–2016) and went on to serve as the 2020 President of NC REALTORS?. A dynamic public speaker and tireless advocate for property ownership and private property rights, she remains deeply committed to advancing her profession.
Her impact extends well beyond real estate. Maren is actively involved in Charlotte’s philanthropic community and has served as chair and champion for numerous nonprofit organizations throughout the Queen City. She is equally dedicated to the educational communities her children attend, believing that a great REALTOR? not only delivers exceptional service but also contributes meaningfully to the economic and personal growth of the broader community.
Maren’s contributions have earned her numerous honors. She was named Charlotte Regional REALTOR? Association’s REALTOR? of the Year in 2016 — the organization’s highest recognition. She was also named NC REALTOR? of the Year in 2025. She has received the NC REALTORS? Outstanding Service Award and earned the Chairman’s Award three consecutive years for exceptional fundraising and advocacy efforts. In 2018 and again in 2025, she was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame by the National Association of REALTORS? for her extraordinary commitment to advocacy. She has also been recognized by the Charlotte business community as a “40 Under 40” honoree and as one of the region’s Top Women in Business.
In 2018, Maren stepped into a leadership role at HM Properties, partnering with one of the area’s most respected broker-owners. Together, they continue to elevate the level of service, strategy, and results delivered to their clients. She resides in the Barclay Downs neighborhood with her husband, Chris; their sons, Reid and Dillon; their two dogs, Winston and Charlie; and their cat, Lulu.
