Margaret Hicks

Margaret Hicks was born in Pulaski County and grew up on a registered Holstein dairy farm in the county. After obtaining an Associate of Business degree at NRCC, her work experience took her to the Budget Office for the State Department of Community Colleges in Richmond, various banking positions in loan departments, and office organization and administrative responsibilities for a large local business. Her real estate profession began in 2005 with McCraw Real Estate. In 2007, she transferred to Long & Foster for the next thirteen years. 2021 has found her making her new Real Estate home with Welcome Home Real Estate!!! She enjoys an occasional round of golf, reading, hiking, cabin-time at the lake and (a newly found activity since the pandemic) working puzzles!! Her family is so especially important to her and when schedules allow, her husband and she enjoy visits from and visiting their daughter who lives in Lynchburg. She also enjoys being a member of the First Baptist Church in Radford. She is so excited to be working with the professionals and leadership that comprise Welcome Home Real Estate!! Over the fifteen going on sixteen years that she has been in real estate, her passion has only grown for this profession and for the wonderful people she has had the privilege to help obtain their dreams through new homeownership, transfers, and investments!! Every client and their needs are unique and special to her!!!
