About Margaret

Peggy has been involved in selling homes, large tracts of land, citrus groves and commercial property to both American and European investors, as well as first time home buyers for more than 41 years and still loves what she does. Helping people sell or buy has been her goal; Peggy and her office staff has lived by the following "Meeting the Needs, Desires and Dreams of Buyers and Sellers". In 2007 knowing that the real estate marketing was changing, Peggy purchased a RE/MAX franchise to be on the cutting edge of the real estate business. RE/MAX offered the highest training, technology and services to help her excel in her business.

In 2014 the opportunity allowed Peggy to expand her office to Charlotte County where she helps other agents reach beyond their goals. She is involved in giving back to the community through many different organizations by making donations for Christmas Boxes, Shoes for local students, Charlotte Homeless Coalition, and others.

We have all heard the expression, There is no I in Team! This is certainly true when you contact ReMax Excel in Port Charlotte. Led by Margaret Peggy Mardis, you will find this out the minute you call or enter her agency. I have purchased two condos from Peggy and everyone I met was pleasant, courteous, professional and willing to answer any questions that I had. It didn't matter if Peggy was available or not. I relocated to Florida this past September. My friends, Pat and Charlie drove down from the Boston area with me and planned on staying with me for ten days. During that visit, they noticed a condo for sale on the bulletin board at the association clubhouse. It was FSBO and he wanted nothing to do with any real estate agencies at all. I introduced my friends to Peggy and the rest is history. I knew she would help them. Peggy called the owner and it didn't take long for him to realize that between her and her team of professionals the entire transaction would be as smooth as silk. It was!
