Mariama was more than amazing! She was a miracle worker! She took a home that was sitting empty, neglected and needed desperately to be sold. She went above and beyond to help my friend (the owner of the home). I am a real estate agent from Hawaii who had to find a special agent to help my friend sell her home in Hercules. Being an agent myself, I know the process involved in preparing to list a home. This one was a challenge that many agents may have walked away from, but not Mariama. She took on the lengthy project with a positive and determined attitude. She tirelessly worked with the Sellers, day in and day out to handle the tasks involved to prepare the home, and constantly reassured them that their home would sell. Amazing experience as a first time home buyer! We were referred to her by my sister who spoke highly of her so contacted Mariama that we were interested in a home but in no rush. She went step by step on how this process will be. After explaining everything we were on our home buying journey. Mariana is hands down the BEST realtor we have ever worked with!

Our journey started with a search on Yelp for best realtor in Pinole January 30th. She was the first agent that came up, and first to respond to my message. Right from the start she was a great communicator and gave us a realistic road map of what to except if we moved forward with listing our house for sale with her.

Mariama expertly coordinated all pre-listing jobs from getting bids for painting, house cleaning, staging and ensuring our house was listed before the holiday weekend. I found Mariama from her reoccurring marketing mailers and emails, as well as from a few of her listings in my neighborhood. I scheduled a meeting with Mariama to find out a little more about her business and what to expect if I did choose to list with her. At our first appointment, she was punctual and prepared. I had to take an unexpected business call when she arrived and she took the time to walk around my house while I was temporarily preoccupied on the call. When we finally sat down, she explained her services and her ability to execute quickly on selling my home. I was looking for someone who had the resources to help me get my home listed ASAP. The house was cleaned, staged, and listed in a week. Mariama did most of the heavy lifting to make this happen. We had one open house and multiple offers the second week. Mariama is such an absolutely amazing agent!! My fiancé and I started in communication with her a couple years ago when we were first interested in buying our first home. My in-laws bought their home through Mariama about 7 years ago and they referred us. We are so thankful for the referral because Mariama has been absolutely amazing. We ended up renting for 2 years because the market wasn’t the best(she kept in touch and checked in periodically with us during that time), but as of this week we are first time home owners!! Mariama is so on top of things and would keep us up to date with the whole process on a daily basis. We have the upmost respect for her and think so highly of her. Wife and I began our journey with Mariama over three years ago (2019). A friend of ours recommended Mariama. We scheduled an appointment to discuss: what steps to take, how to prepare, and a general idea of what the process looks like. Let's be real.. school never prepared anyone (as far as I know) on home purchasing process, and major financial loans... am I right?

My wife and I reached out to Mariama a few times throughout the years to touch base. She was patient, and shared her time us---even though we still weren't ready to buy a house.

Working with Mariama has been nothing but positive results. I was on the search of quickly looking for a property in the Bay Area. When we first found Mariama on yelp we had already been searching for a home for over a month. We had placed offers on two other homes that were not accepted. The realtor we had been working with did not provide us with the guidance we were expecting and was often difficult to get a hold of.

We were impressed with Mariama's many five-star reviews and when we did our first zoom call with her, we were impressed by how much information she imparted to us in one short meeting. We learned more about the home buying process in that short 30-45 minute call than we had in working with the other realtor in over a month. After the call, we were so impressed that we decided to part ways with our previous realtor and start working with Mariama. Now over one year living in our dream home I know with certainty that it was the best decision we ever made.

What I noticed right away with Mariama is that every step in the home buying process was accompanied by a thorough explanation. She also made it easy to ask any questions we thought of along the way. On our first-time seeing homes with Mariama, we found the house of our dreams and prepared to make an offer. Mariama was completely on top of everything, so much so that when the selling agent on the house suddenly changed the due date to receive offers she was on the phone with us and with the other agent to make sure our offer was received in time for review. She kept the lines of communication open and advised us on how to put together an offer that was strong. Because of this and her strong negotiating skills we had our offer accepted and entered into escrow.

She continuously advised us on how best to protect our interests throughout the whole process. She was patient with us as we requested many different inspections on the home and reassured us whenever issues arose. With her help we were able to close in 25 days. Her services did not end at the time that escrow closed. Since the time that we became the owners in early September of 2020 she has provided us with many resource recommendations as new homeowners.

I would definitely recommend Mariama as a realtor to anyone and have already mentioned how great she is at her job to many of my friends.

To say Mariama was a wonderful, partner, advisor, friend, and support system during our home buying process is an UNDERSTATEMENT; Mariama is simply the best.

My wife and I were looking to buy our first house and of course decided to do it during a wild time in the housing market. My wife quickly found Mariama through Instagram and the connection was great from the start.

If you're looking for a realtor, you've found the right one. I've worked with Mariama on 3 different transactions in the last 1.5 years and each time the transaction went through without any issues, each time she was there every step of the way, and each time she was a pleasure to work with.

She’s an expert in all facets of real estate buying and selling. In my first transaction with her, she helped me purchase new construction. In my next two transactions with her, she helped me sell a house and buy another one at the same time, which can be tricky if you’re not navigating those waters with someone who knows what they are doing. She really really cares about what her clients want. She’s looking out for your best interests even if you aren’t looking out for your own. She’s going to roll up her sleeves and flight for her client’s best outcome during any transaction and she has so many connections to all of the necessary industries. In my most recent purchase, I was in this ultra-competitive market where bidding wars and non-contingent offers are normal. As my patience started wearing thin and I was ready to go for a nice-looking house, Mariama advised me that the home inspection was showing major issues that I probably didn’t want to deal with, even though the house appeared to look great. I listened and waited it out and ended up with a much better result thanks to her honesty of what she saw and how it related to my wants and needs.

Prior to meeting Mariama, we were making offers on homes in another area but had lost on so many that we were just about to give up hope. I honestly though it would be impossible to purchase a home in this insane market, but Mariama made it possible. She has SO MANY connections in every industry related to a home purchase. It's crazy. After having our offer accepted, I started to panic. As a first time home buyer, there's so many things to think about, so many things to consider. But Mariama's extensive experience really showed during the closing process. She personally knew people at my lending company and title company. She organized communication between everyone and made sure that we were constantly on track for an 18 day close. Behind the scenes, my lender's appraiser was having a hard time justifying my purchase price, but Mariama had worked with this appraiser multiple times before and knew exactly what information the appraiser needed in order for the home to appraise at the contract price. Waiving the appraisal contingency is mandatory is this market, so this was seriously a life saver.

Look no further, Mariama is the real estate agent for you!

My fiancée and I found Mariama on Yelp and scheduled a virtual consultation. As first time homebuyers, we were looking for an agent who was patient, detailed, and knowledgeable. She checked all those boxes 10 times over.

On very short notice, we wanted to put an offer on a home that we saw that day since offers were due the next day. Without hesitation, Mariama immediately helped us review the disclosures, analyze the property, and make a competitive offer. Although our offer was rejected (made top 2 out of 20+ offers), we came out of it feeling completely confident in the process and our agent.

Just a week later, we got another offer accepted on a competitive property. Mariama had her our best financial and emotional interest in mind at all times, and kept us informed the whole way through. For example, just 2 days before closing, Mariama had the presence of mind to remind the seller to clear out the messy backyard so we wouldn't be burdened with it. Amazing!

We learned so much about real estate in general from Mariama and she continues to refer us to companies for home improvements. It's bittersweet that we only worked with her for a few months, but we will NO DOUBT be going back to her as long as we're in the area.

When my wife and I decided to sell our house in 2020, I researched realtors in our area, and Mariama came up as one of the top professionals. I was impressed by the number of positive reviews! We contacted Mariama along with other realtors on our short list, and we chose to work with her after meeting with her at our home and reviewing the current market value of houses in our neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised to learn she owned a home in the same development. She clearly knew our neighborhood and the area very well.

On Mariama’s recommendation, we decided to move out of our house prior to listing it. She provided us with names of moving services and even assisted with the disposal of furniture and other items that we did not take with us.

Mariama identified all of the house inspections that needed to be done, scheduled them and provided us with updates and the final reports. She arranged for the house cleaning, staging for showing, and publications of the listing. The professional photos and video were very impressive and made our house look like it was brand new! Her communication with us at each step was excellent. I had made a mistake when doing some touch-up painting, and Mariama resolved this admirably!

Mariama kept us informed of the listing of comparable properties for sale in neighborhood. We received multiple offers on our house after only one week. Mariama reviewed these with us in detail and assisted us with the decision on which ones to consider and accept. She worked with the buyer’s agent, the Title Company and the neighborhood HOA to complete all preparations for escrow, and kept us informed of the progress and status of issues that came up.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mariama on the sale of our house. She is very professional and pleasant with a positive attitude. We would highly recommend working with her and would happily refer her to friends and family!

Let me just say this first, it was a breath of fresh air working with Mariama. We were a first-time home buyer and she made it so easy for us. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have found our current home which checked off so many of our boxes that it seems unreal.

Professionalism: She never pushed us to do anything we didn't want to. She wore mask, followed Covid procedures to the T at every showing. She advocated for us at every step whether it was with other agents or even my lender. She didn't even care if it was evening, night, and/or weekends but was available and responsive whenever we needed her. This is to say that she was ready to work around our schedules.

Personal communication: Both me and my husband loved working with her, her communication was top notch. She kept us in loop at every step of the way and told us things going on "behind the scenes" while we were waiting anxiously throughout the closing process and during offer process. As a first-time home buyers, we had so many questions and she never made us feel like we were asking too much (we had a bad experience with anther realtor before her) and instead she was very patient and explained things step-by-step with clarity.

Home Showings: During COVID times, we understood that we can't have open-houses so it was very difficult for us to make our mind about a house. Mariama never hesitated to show us something we really like of course following all the procedures and precautions. She understood the importance of looking at home in-person before putting an offer. I mention it because we had an agent before who was kind of pressuring us to put an offer by just looking at a house online.

Amazing human being: She is just a delight to work with, amazing human, and we would highly recommend talking to her for your real estate needs.

If you're undecided on who to work with for your real estate needs, no need to look any further - Mariama is the absolute best! Her reputation & strong relationships is the edge that got my offer accepted and me into my first dream home.

I came to Mariama as a first time homebuyer in March. She came highly recommend from friends of mine who purchased a home with her in Hercules a few years ago. She has also helped their family members and other people I know purchase homes who have also left very positive reviews.

I was on the fence for a while and was hesitant to go through this process, especially due to the uncertainty and timing of Covid. However, Mariama was so patient and gave me the time to think, process and feel comfortable with moving forward. She's so easy to talk to and it felt like I was working with a family member who had my best interests at heart (and she did)!

Mariama is AMAZING! I reached out to her in August and by the beginning of October we were home owners. The entire experience went by so fast and smooth. Which is crazy especially considering how competitive the market is right now. She was communicative, and most importantly very responsive to all our questions.
