Marian was the absolute best. We both were unfamiliar with the metro Detroit area and she guided us through every step of the home buying process. She was constantly there for us looking at houses week after week and would only show us houses that had everything we wanted which was very helpful. She was also very honest and would let us know if a house needed a lot of work, etc. She also made our closing process extremely easy and we truly were not stressed about any of it. She handled hiccups in the closing process on her own without stressing us out. She is the besttttt we will refer all our friends to her

Marian came recommended by a friend who has worked with her on several home sales and purchases. She is a very kind and professional person, and very focused on you so it feels like you're her "only client" (when, of course, she has many). Not only is Marian easy to work with, she has excellent people on her team that handle the more routine/paperwork matters (so the saying is true: good people attract good people). At the very least, put her on your list of recommended realtors and have a chat with her--she doesn't sugarcoat things which means you get to a sale faster with less fuss. Specifically, we worked with Marian to sell my mother's house (she lived in for 48 years) as she transitioned to an Independent Living facility; and Marian made the communication easy with my brother, mother, and myself.

You could quickly tell she has been in the industry for a long time based on her knowledge and experience. She was so easy to communicate with, always quick to respond with a detailed answer, very patient and have our best interest. Marian provided us with excellent guidance when putting in an offer to ensure we got what we wanted and was with us throughout the entire buying process, from walking through all the houses, to closing. Marian handled the sale of my elderly Mother's condo after the death of my Father and words really can't describe how amazing Marian was to work with. As with most real estate transactions, we ran into a few issues prior to closing and my Mom and I were not in Michigan to deal with the problems. Marian and her amazing team went so far above and beyond what any other realtor has ever done for me - she took care of literally everything. She handled every single post-inspection item from helping us find a contractor, setting up the work, being there to oversee the work, etc. They handled it all. And through it all, Marian and Wenessa were a joy to work with and gave us peace of mind. Plus, we closed at full price!!! If you're in the market for a realtor, look no further - Marian is the best.

We looked for a home for 10 months. Marian was patient and always available whenever we wanted to see a house. This usually happened on the day it listed given the competitive market. When we found the perfect home for our family she wrote the offer and worked all weekend to make sure we got the house. She was with us every step of the way. Marian is a strong advocate for her clients and keeps your best interest at the forefront of the search. As soon as we bought a house she began marketing our current house and once listed had it sold in one day with multiple offers. Our experience with Marian was outstanding!

Marian Grout is the best realtor I’ve ever dealt with. I have bought and sold 2 homes in Michigan and I will always recommend her. She is professional & she is ethical, which I feel is very important in this day and age- I want a seller to be truthful to me and, as a seller, I never want to feel like I’ve deceived the buyer. In this day and age we need people with great integrity. She always gives me advice and supports me in whatever I decide. When I call her, I feel like I am her only client; she is that responsive. She knows her stuff. For example, while I was moving out of 1 home and moving into another (in both transactions, she was my realtor) the moving company was a disaster and I wish I had asked for her advice in choosing a company. (They were not professionals, didn’t even had a way to protect the wood floors). Within 15 minutes she had me on the phone with a professional mover who jumped through hoops to save the day and the next day i was sleeping in my new home. Trust her; I do.

I have loved working with Marian for all of my real estate needs. I've used her both for buying and selling and liked her so much that I referred her to two other people in the area. She is great to work with if you're about to move to the area from out of town or state since she knows a lot about the different regions of metro Detroit. I always felt like she had my best interests in mind without pushing me outside of my comfort zone. She was great about providing information and suggestions, but always made sure I made the final decision. I highly recommend you reach out to her and at least start a conversation. I can't wait to continue using her in the future!

Marian is a seasoned professional in the real estate market. We have used Marian to buy and sell homes and everything has exceeded our expectations (pictures, awareness, attention to detail, etc). We had to purchase a home in a very short timeframe in the hottest housing market in history and she was able to not only get us in the running every time with offers, but also able to help us close on the perfect home within our tight timeline. While she is aggressive, she never loses focus of what is best for her clients and will not push clients to make poor offers. She has many connections that she can reach out to in order to answer questions regarding the home itself (structural, plumbing, design and more). My business partner and I selected Marian to list our investment property, a condo in Birmingham. We originally selected Marian as a semi-finalist and decided to meet and interview those agents who made the final cut. After meeting Marian and hearing her take on our property, we had heard all we needed to hear. She was knowledgeable, experienced, made a confident and professional appearance, knew the market well and recommended exactly where to price the unit for a quick sale. We did not need to hear another pitch and hired her on the spot. Within a day or two we had an offer, which she actually suggested we NOT accept.
