About Marie
Her career in real estate began in 2006 after being an Event and Wedding Planner in the Portland Metro area for approximately 5 years. She started out working for a boutique brokerage that was owned by a builder and specialized in new construction. Through this process, she gained priceless expertise in new home sales and marketing. In addition to that, she also learned the construction process and how homes are built. As she was gaining valuable experience as a model home site agent, she decided to dive into residential resale as well. In 2009 she transitioned over to Prudential NW Properties (now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices NW Real Estate). She calls the 2008-2011 years of my career a blessing in disguise, as working through that market taught me so much about how to really sell homes, market homes and how to think outside of the box. She grew up with entrepreneurial parents and at an early age they instilled in me a strong work ethic and internal drive.
She would say one of my biggest strengths is that she does not rest until my clients have achieved their goals. She is deeply committed and focused to everyone, what they are looking for, their goals, and helping them reach them. That is why she does this and work so hard. It brings her boundless joy to help people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives! She loves working and planning with Sellers to get their home ready to list, get them top dollar and get them where they want to go in their timeframe. Giving Buyers keys to their newly purchased home at the end of the transaction is so incredibly rewarding! Whether it is a luxury home, a condo, or a foreclosure she takes pride in handling it skillfully, with care and expertise!
After moving to Oregon from Maui to Attend Linfield College, I did not have a huge family or contacts in the area. Over the last 11 years, I have been so blessed to be able to run my business completely referral based. In 2015, of my forty-eight home sales, thirty were referrals and 16 were past clients that had purchased or sold with me before. I can whole heartedly say that I have the absolute best clients out there and I am so thankful for each one of them.
