After making the decision to make a move from Arizona to Brookings Oregon, our next step was to find a realtor to work with; not knowing a soul in Brookings to help us with a referral. After doing an exhaustive search and many reviews later, as luck would have it, we found a listing for a property that would work for us in making the transition. Though we had not yet secured a realtor, we reached out to the broker representing the seller at 11:00pm (not realizing the late hour) and Marie responded back almost immediately. We met Marie at the house the next afternoon. We felt like we knew her forever and she made us feel so comfortable that even if we did not secure this property, we realized that we had found our realtor for a future purchase. With the market being extremely competitive, Marie even helped us in formulating an offer that ultimately helped us land the deal. From day one through the entire escrow process, Marie was always professional, accessible, and she and her team member, Jennifer McDonald, responded almost immediately to our questions and kept us fully apprised of the progress from initial offer, through coordinating the inspection, to closing. It was one of the smoothest escrow processes that we have ever been through; especially impressive since we were handling it from out of state. I would highly recommend Marie and her team to anyone beginning their search for a realtor. We feel very lucky to have crossed paths with Marie and will definitely partner with her for any future property purchases.
