Owning real estate is exciting. I bought my first home when I was 19 years old because I was lucky to work for Continental Airlines who had a credit union and they loaned me my downpayment and closing costs!!!... It worked. I worked for them for 14 years, went on to Alaska on a music road job and started working at the ticket counter for ERA Aviation, then a travel agent. After that I opened my own travel agency, Aurora Travel for 10 years.

In 2004 I received my Real Estate License, love this occupation and shop for a client as if I were shopping for myself. I've helped make dreams come true by selling 170 homes and land since I started working as a licensed realtor. There are many loan types out there and one most always fits for your needs and wants. I tell my clients, shopping for a home is not like buying a can of corn. It takes time and patience and we shop until my client finds the perfect property whether it takes a week or a year or more.

About my background: I was born in the Netherlands, my family and I immigrated as a refugee family from WWII My folks and older sister were camp survivors....Thank the Heavens or I would not be here...I was 8 years old when I saw the Statue of Liberty on the immigrant ship Groote Bear. We went through the process and became naturalized citizens. When asked in front of the judge if I wanted to change my name, I said No Thankyou. Sponsored by a local church we lived in California where my father continued as a chemist, my mom a registered nurse.

One can achieve whatever one wants here in America, just need to go after it. The same with real estate.
