Marjorie Galen

Marjorie Galen has a successful career selling and listing houses in Rockland County. In the past few years, she achieved the highest average sales price in the river town communities and regularly ranks in the top five in sales volume. Marjorie, a Rockland resident for more than 25 years, raised her two children in the Snedens Landing neighborhood of Palisades. She brings financial acumen acquired through work in the music business and a creative eye from her work as a published craft book author and photographer.

Currently living in her third 19th century house in Snedens Landing, Marjorie combines her love of the Hudson Valley's historic houses with a keen interest in modern architecture, art and furnishings. She is enthusiastic about each house's unique details, and loves the process of matching a family with a property.

She is very engaged in the community through her work, hobbies and involvement in local politics and as a trustee of the Palisades Free Library, and through her children - one a graduate from Columbia University and the other in her last semester at Brown University - who attended the South Orangetown public schools.
