Mark and France Clausen are the founders and shared owners of Veritas Group at Compass, a top-producing real estate team serving Austin and the Texas Hill Country. Mark, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, brings discipline, precision, and tenacity to every negotiation. His background as an investor, developer, and problem solver has shaped the way he navigates complex transactions and builds lasting client trust. France complements this with a Master’s in Social Work and a BA in Psychology, blending empathy and creativity into her marketing strategies to ensure every property is positioned for maximum exposure and appeal.

Together, they’ve been real estate investors for more than three decades, co-owned a construction and development company, and since 2007 have excelled in residential, ranch, and land sales across Austin and the Hill Country. They’ve also built and managed a collection of sought-after short-term rentals, expanding their expertise in investment and income-producing properties.
