About Mark

In 1988 Mark moved from Birmingham to Sandestin, where he has had a front row seat witnessing the phenomenal growth and maturation the Emerald Coast has experienced over past three decades.

Mark has maintained a full-time career in sales and marketing, sales management, and sales training. In 1988 he became the General Manager for JMA, Inc., one the largest sales and sales management training organization in the country.

In 1996, he joined the Edgewater Management team in the creation of the Martin Green Golf Academy. Under Mark’s supervision as National Director of Sales and Marketing, the Golf Academy earned the prestigious distinction as one of Golf Magazine's "Top 25 Golf Schools" in the country in 2001 and maintained that prestigious recognition throughout his tenure. Having worked closely with Edgewater Management on multiple real estate projects over the years, Mark was asked to join Edgewater Beach Real Estate Team in 2005. His service has always been highly focused to meet his client’s specific needs and insure maximum results.

In 2015, Mark joined the Counts Real Estate Group as Director of Sales for the new Scenic 30A South Walton office, which is perfectly situated between Rosemary Beach and Seaside, his office is located directly on Scenic 30A at Eastern Lake.

Mark is now the Managing Partner for the Counts Luxury 30A Group and specializes in the South Walton and Scenic 30A Resort Second Home and Primary Residence market. These properties include luxury gulf front and bay front condominiums, townhouses, single-family homes, as well as pre-construction opportunities for both beach and bay front, along with land and home packages. His firsthand knowledge of the Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, WaterSound, Seaside, WaterColor, Grayton Beach and Sandestin real estate markets is unsurpassed. He is on the ground daily with buyers and sellers and knows how to successfully fulfill your goals.
