About Mark

A long-term Vermont resident, Mark brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience to his career. As Owner / Broker of Catamount Realty Group, he is committed to forging a company that values quality over quantity. Mark has been serving his Real Estate clients for 13 years.

Originally attended Castleton State College studying Business Management, Mark’s ongoing emphasis on education is an integral part of his aspiration to provide first-rate customer service. As Mark explains, “Education is very important to our business. If a class isn’t available in Vermont, we go to Boston, New York City, Atlantic City, or any place where good education is available. Going above and beyond at every level gives our clients a competitive edge in negotiations.” Mark has earned his CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage) CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) SFR, (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), GREEN Designation, RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert), PSA( Price Strategy Advisor), MRP ( Military Relocation Professional), PMN (Performance Management Network), AHWD (At Home with Diversity), C2EX (Commitment to Excellence), RSPS (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist), e-PRO and (C-RETS) Certified Real Estate Team Specialist classes. In 2013, Mark completed the Evelyn Biddle Leadership Development Program.

Mark has served six years, on the education committee for Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors, and Six years on the board of directors for the Vermont Associations of Realtors. He Served 1.5 years as Vice President for the Vermont Association Of Realtors, 1 year as President, and is currently on the Executive committee as the Past President. He has also served on many special committees and task forces for the association. He is now in his 5th year serving as Federal Political Coordinator between the National Association of Realtors and Vermont’s US Senator. He was awarded Realtor of the Year in 2018 by the Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors.
