Dena Fox and team delivered on everything we were looking for in a real estate agent and more! Dena's expertise in both the city and North Shore suburban market fit our needs perfectly, as we were selling our condo to purchase a single family home in the suburbs. We were totally confident in her knowledge & experience on both the buying and selling side. Dena was extremely patient during our 15+ month search process, and stuck with us through all of the uncertainty that the pandemic caused in our lives. She took the time to understand us and our preferences (and we had MANY specific preferences/needs) and we knew we could always trust her judgment and opinions - she always had our best interest at heart and would tell us the truth. She and her team worked hard to get us in to see houses quickly, had great intel/connections on properties coming on the market, and guided us well in what turned out to be such an incredibly competitive market. Dena was with us every step of the way through the purchase and closing process with a challenging seller, and we know we could not have had a better advocate from start to finish. And last but not least, once we were under contract on our new house, Dena exceeded all expectations on the sale of our city condo. We planned to list after we moved out, but Dena handled the whole showing, negotiation, and inspection while we were away on vacation - delivering multiple offers over asking with the closing date of our choice. We never imagined our sale would be so easy and timed so perfectly. We never hesitate to recommend Dena to anyone looking to buy or sell, she was simply the best and a lot of fun to work with!

This is the fourth transaction we've done with Dena and her team, and per usual, it was top-notch service for the entire experience. One of the things that I think Dena does exceptionally well is helping her clients envision what a house can be. To that end, we are experienced buyers (as evidenced by the number of transactions) and know what we like, need, etc., so we will usually attend showings on our own to be efficient with everyone's time. Since schedules aligned, Dena came with us on this showing; we may have passed on the house if she wasn't with us to help us walk through what we could do to improve the functionality and long-term value of the home. Thanks to her market experience, creativity, and patience for my husband's long-winded questions, we put in an offer a few hours after the tour.

We were the second showing, and knew that we needed to act fast given the given the competitiveness of the market. She worked quickly and strategically to guide us to the right offer, while also communicating effectively with the seller's agent to negotiate. After a few hours, the seller had accepted the offer, canceled the upcoming open house, and five showings they had scheduled for the following day.

All in all, a successful and smooth transaction. We cannot recommend Dena enough.

We've now used Dena three times to either buy or sell a condo in Chicago. Her expertise, patience and dedication to her clients is unmatched! She goes above and beyond, and knows the market intimately to ensure you get the best deal. We have seen her expertly navigate numerous complex situations when we were either buying or selling property, and highly recommend her - and her entire team - to all of our friends.

We fully recommend Marlene and her team to anyone looking for a home; our experience was exceptional. Our family was searching for a house for over a year, and worked with a few agents who came and went. We were introduced to Marlene through a work colleague who was on a corporate relocation. There was no way we would have found our home without her help. She is very knowledgeable, highly responsive, proactive, experienced and networked in the area. She took the time to listen to what we wanted; and patient to show us options when our ideas changed. Marlene truly cared about finding a home that fit our wants and needs. I recently moved to Chicago from Ireland and reached out to Shopanny after she was recommended by a friend to help me find a place to live.

Shopanny was Amazing and went above and beyond to help me find an apartment. She took me for several viewings and didn't stop searching until she found exactly what I was looking for. Now I live in a really nice area in a lovely apartment that is close to all necessary amenities.

10/10 would recommend Shopanny when relocating or even just looking to move places. When the time comes, I will be getting in touch again!
