Marti was recommended to us by a family friend, and boy are we glad we took their advice! I already told Marti she deserves the Best Realtor Ever award!!!

I (almost) never felt worried during ourentire selling process, because Marti is so confident and knowledgeable about what she does - and that's coming from a chronic worry-wart! I trusted Marti to sell our house, did what she said, and our house sold FAST!!! Her team is quick to respond any time you have questions or just need to talk things through. She will give you very clear information, schedules, and when you're ready to sell, she'll walk and talk you through every offer, so you always feel like you're making the most informed decision.

Marti is also just a kindhearted person. Our cross-country moving plans were laden with hiccups and bumps in the road, from our listing timeline, to a vacation right in the middle of selling, to the chaos every family deals with when trying to unpack. Marti always told us that our family's needs were more important than filling out forms. She was always a cheerleader for our family more than just the home sale, and we are so, so appreciative.

“We retained Marti Reeder after interviewing a number of agents for a remote sale of a house in Kent. Marti provided her analysis of what repairs needed to be done in advance of sale. More importantly she made recommendations for contractors who did the work in a timely basis and with minimal effort by me. Having a real estate agent with good contractors, who see Marti as a repeat and important client is very important.

After all the repairs, cleaning, etc, were taken care of the house was staged and it looked great. More importantly, the house sold for significantly more than I thought it would. The closing went smoothly and without a hitch. “

My wife and I had known Marti and Merle as friends for many years before hiring them to sell our house. We had confidently recommended them to others on several occasions, knowing without a doubt Team Marti would take very good care of them. When it came time for us to sell our house in Kent earlier this year, there was never any question as to whom we would ask to get this done!

It turns out our house had been badly mistreated by our renters, and needed a lot of help before it would be market ready. As soon as it was vacant, Marti and Merle swooped in and, drawing on all their expertise, they quickly identified the various issues to be addressed. They carefully explained to us how the needed repairs and recommended upgrades would more than pay for themselves in terms of increased market value. We cannot begin to tell you how far "above and beyond" they went to help us get our house ready to sell! It sold quickly, and for $75 thousand over our asking price!

If we could give Marti MORE than 5 stars, we would do it in a heartbeat!

Marti and Merle Reeder, and their team: what outstanding professionals we have in our midst!!!

After interviewing numerous agents, we chose Marti to represent us in selling our home. We can honestly say she not only accomplished all she said she would, but she accomplished a whole lot more. From the beginning we felt we were a part of a true team based upon the strong relationships which Marti has cultivated over the years. She guided us in preparing our house by suggesting updates as well as providing us with a list of contractors which her clients have successfully used in the past. We had the distinct feeling that she was totally committed to our sale and would do whatever she could to make sure we had a positive experience. We felt that she was with us all along the way. Marti was candid when we had questions and her experience helped us to achieve a very positive sale with numerous offers substantially above our asking price.

Marti’s and her team’s communication with us was exceptional. She worked diligently with all parties involved including the title company, the buyers’ realtor, and the lender to insure that all bases were covered. She was always available through emails, texts, or phone calls and when in a meeting would return our calls promptly. This eliminated any unnecessary concerns on our part since we always were in the loop.

Marti easily accepted our decisions on various issues, but was frank with us when she had a different opinion, although she always supported our final decision without hesitation.

Over the years we have purchased and sold many properties, but working with Marti took the process to a whole other level. She is trustworthy, honest, professional, and generous with her time. Without a doubt we would give her and her team our highest recommendation.

Marti and her team did an absolutely incredible job of selling my house and helping me to find a new one. This was the first time I had gone through the process alone. From day one, Marti, held my hand— sometimes a literally! She and her husband Merle were so knowledgeable, supportive, and communicative throughout the entire process. What I did not expect, was Team Marti’s vast network of people that made this process much smoother and less stressful than it might’ve been. OMG, where do I begin? In the nearly 40 years that I have worked with or hired real estate brokers, I have NEVER experienced someone as good as Marti. I was donating the house to charity prior to the sale, which added complexity to the transaction but she handled it like the professional that she is. Her tenacity in dealing with the multiple parties involved was exceptional. After the donation, she still kept me in the loop at all times and allowed me input to the process.

After my tenants had moved out, Marti had arranged for contractors to come in THE NEXT DAY to start work on getting the house ready for sale. Her team arranged to have landscaping done, minor cosmetic repairs, carpet, painting, and windows replaced. Marti's husband Merle is a contractor and was a Godsend! He was able to respond immediately to a couple issues found as the house was being prepped for sale.

All of the work was completed within a couple weeks and the house went on the market about 3 weeks after the tenants vacated. She held 2 open houses starting on day 2 of the listing and had 7 offers in hand WITHIN 4 DAYS OF LISTING; ALL ABOVE ASKING PRICE!

What a wonderful experience! Great customer service is not what it used to be but Marti is the exception. She is a great communicator and a great, genuine person. Her team is just the same! Thank you so much!

After extensive research into reviews such as these, my wife and I met with Marti Reeder and decided we didn’t need to look any further. She immediately noticed things about our home that made it desirable and marketable, and pointed out things we could do that would bring a higher return and a quicker sale. Her years of experience were evident from that first meeting, to the follow-up emails. Marti and her team were very organized from beginning to end, laying out everything having to do with our listing and sale on an editable calendar, which created a sort of chronological checklist. That way we always knew what our next steps were.
As our listing date approached, the state’s businesses went into a shut-down brought on by the COVID19 outbreak. Although extremely disconcerting to us, Marti seemed almost unfazed, determined to forge on and get us full-price offers in spite of the chaos. And that’s exactly what happened - within three days we had three offers, all above asking price. She helped us weigh the pros and cons of each offer, then handled the subsequent negotiations and the machinations of closing the deal with professionalism and resolve. Bottom line: we would highly recommend Marti and team without reservation to anyone selling a home in the Kent/Covington area.

Hands down, you will not find better realtor than Marti Reeder (Team Marti)! She is knowledgeable, helpful, dependable, and will go above and beyond to make sure you (her client) can get the best outcome when purchasing real estate. Marti isn’t about making the all mighty dollar. There have been two situations where she advised to re-think a real estate purchase based on what I was in the market for. I recently had the pleasure of working with Marti and her team, I couldn't be more satisfied with their services!

I had already moved to a other town when my first sale fell through. Marti quickly listed my house on a Friday and I accepted a full price offer on Monday. She and her team handled everything so that I didn't have to come back into town. The contrast between the first sale attempt and the next one with Marti was like night and day.

She was always quickly responsive and knew every detail whenever I reached out to her. It felt like I was her only client! However, I saw all of the other homes that she is the listing agent for on her website. I don't know how she does it, it's quite impressive!
