About Mary Ann
Mary Ann Quinn grew up in Revere and Peabody; both of her parents worked in the real estate industry. She graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School and then went on to Merrimack College where she earned a BA in psychology and met her husband Bob, who is originally from Gloucester. After they married, they moved to Reading and raised their two children. Mary Ann is blessed to live near her daughter and grandchildren (they truly are the apples of her eye!). They have been living in town for almost 40 years and this community has earned a place in her heart, they have loved living here.
As a licensed realtor since 1979, Mary Ann's first career was in banking. She started right after college and quickly became a branch manager and then a branch administrator with 19 offices under her supervision. The job proved a bit more than she wanted with small children. She needed more flexibility, and a career in real estate proved to be a perfect solution.
Mary Ann represents both sellers and buyers. With such deep roots in the area, she can offer firsthand knowledge about neighborhoods, schools, economic development, and the evolution of the communities. In addition, she has a vast network of "peeps” to help her sellers showcase their homes to the fullest. Buyers who work with Mary Ann can count on honesty, integrity, and guidance based on her deep experience.
Over the years, Mary Ann has been very involved with national and local realtor organizations, including a term as President of the Eastern Middlesex Association of Realtors. She has served on committees and has held executive positions at the state level.
Buying or selling a home is one of life’s most meaningful milestones and Mary Ann brings to the process experience, empathy, strong ethics, and candor. She is deeply committed to her clients, offering the best representation to sellers and buyers.
To showcase listed homes to their fullest, she includes decorative staging and professional photography. She provides a multitude of advertising avenues, including extensive online exposure and direct mailings. Mary Ann walks her buyers through every facet of the buying process from beginning to end, so there are no surprises.
While based in Reading, Mary Ann lists and sells homes in all of the neighboring communities. She works under the brokerage at Premier Realty Group of Reading and is honored to be associated with such a phenomenal agency.
When Mary Ann is not marketing listings or scouting for homes to meet the needs of her buyers, she delights in actively supporting the community. You can find her volunteering, participating, or sponsoring activities at Killam Elementary School, Mission of Deeds, Reading Gymnastics, Burbank YMCA, Merrimack College, and Planet Fitness. She doesn’t just live in the area - she loves the area!
Mary Ann's other passion is greyhounds. She supports several greyhound rescue organizations throughout the state. For the past 20 years, one (or more) of these beautiful animals has been part of her family. Since greyhound racing is outlawed, she hopes to use her network to help find loving homes for what will be an abundance of these dogs. Contrary to popular belief, they are perfect family pets. They don’t need to run but need a neighborhood walk like any other dog.
