I worked with Mary as a potential buyer for over a year. She probably showed me 50+ houses and did so with tremendous patience. I ultimately purchased a home that was one of Mary's personal listings. She had built enough trust with me that I was very comfortable with her position representing the Seller and the Buyer. She is professional, personable, knowledgeable and very helpful with navigating the process.

We first met Mary when we were trying to get a realtor to just come to our home. It might sound unusual, but of the three Realtors that had the background we were looking for, she was the only one that would come talk to us. When we first called her, she even offered to come over after her last appointment, that very same night! And I must have called her around 6 in the evening (I was expecting to just leave a voicemail for the next day)! The Pointes can be a bit fickle, but Mary certainly is not. She was very pleasant to deal with and always had a smile ready for us. We were very surprised how late she worked on selling our home. I remember a few emails that would be waiting for me in the morning, which she had sent after midnight! When it came time to close the deal on the property we were selling, we were willing to offer all appliances, make concessions, basically whatever we had to do. I can tell you, Mary is an excellent negotiator; we got the price we wanted, kept the items we wanted, and could not have asked for her to have done anything else. She is a talented professional who really is a wish list Realtor. My wife and I do not enjoy selling and purchasing real estate, and we have never found a Realtor that we could continue to do business with. Interviewing Realtors these days is a lot like going into a car dealership… everybody looking to make a buck at your expense. You WILL NOT get that impression with Mary. We plan to call upon her services again once spring rolls around, and we are confident that she will make it as painless as possible. So our recommendation would be: if you need a veteran in the Grosse Pointe real estate market, and YOU DO, give Mary a call. She will work tirelessly for you and negotiate an amazing deal. You will not be disappointed!
