About Mary
Mary Niemeyer grew up in Moses Lake and earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education/curriculum and supervision at Central Washington University. She returned to the Columbia Basin for a very rewarding 4 years of elementary teaching in Royal City. In 1974, the Okanogan's beauty, recreational variety, and community spirit were called to Mary and her husband. They moved to the Omak area to continue their careers and create a lifelong home for themselves. They raised their two children, both college graduates now, on twelve rural acres in the original Okanogan Great Northern Train Depot which they moved to the property and spent several years remodeling into the family home it now is.
Mary retired from education and acquired her real estate license in 2007. With each of her clients, she aims to use the same communication skills, determination, hard work, organization, and encouragement with her clients that helped students set and achieve their goals. The creativity and vision that gave her the confidence to transform a 1920's train depot into a comfortable family home are also powerful tools she will use with clients to help them reach their highest potential for their residence, property, and lifestyle.
Mary will deliver high-quality service and guidance to buyers and sellers of real estate throughout the process. She will help you make informed real estate choices by putting your interests first. She will implement the level of service and integrity that are hallmarks of Windermere to create a lifelong relationship between realtor and client.
