Some realtors are all about making the most commission and will basically tell you whatever to get you to go after a house. Tony listened to what we wanted and took the time to show us many homes in our criteria. He utilized professional tools alongside the normal comps to give us the most information. After we closed, Tony has been a constant resource for contractors and opinions. I feel like I could call him up right now with a list of questions and he’s patiently answer them. If he didn’t know the answers off the cuff, he would do everything to find the answer.

There’s not enough space in this field to describe how much we appreciate the job that Tony Standrod and the whole team did helping us sell our house and purchase a new house.
We had been in our previous home for 22 years, and the thought of having to actually uproot and move to a new area was a daunting task. The crazy velocity of the housing market even made it more intimidating. But every step of the way Tony and his team did a monster job of helping us prepare, market, sell, shop, buy, move, and enjoy the entire experience.
To this day, my wife and I stand outside our property and look into it with an amazement that it matched so many of our needs, and even offered so many more things that we didn’t realize we needed.

Finding the right agent will determine whether you have a good or bad experience buying or selling. We were blessed to get the right agent! In our situation we were moving from Michigan to Louisville and knew absolutely nothing about the area. Matthew Hoagland was instrumental in the process for us. He was so patient with us and involved in every aspect of the process. Countless phone calls, last minute showings, video walk throughs while we were 6 hours away, nights and weekends just to name a few. Matthew has brought a level of calm to the home buying process in this crazy market we are in. In this market you need an agent who is going to go to work for you, and not just wait for you to send homes to them. In our situation, it was just that. I was originally referred to Matt as someone who works hard and works very well first people who are first time home buyers. We first made contact during the summer of 2020 and I didn’t end up closing on a house until the end of December. He was very thorough through the process and at no time did I feel like I was being rushed into buying a home. He even talked me out of buying a couple houses because he didn’t think that they were the right one for me. He was very helpful in teaching me the entire process and had recommendations for different people along the entire way. He always answers the phone (even now a month after closing). Today I know if I have any concerns I can call him and he will help me out. I will use him when it is time for me to sell this house and buy a new one as well. Highly recommended!

If I were a realtor in Louisville, I'd be knocking on Matt Hoagland's door to figure out what he is doing right because unless the customer service, value-add, and promise to deliver on the small and large things is at the same level of Matt's I'd either work for him or get out of the business. Matt has it figured out, he prioritizes people and doesn't gamble his reputation on a few extra bucks. We had to move out of our house quickly because a job offer moved us out of Louisville. We had a mutual friend who liked working with Matt and it became obviously why he was recommended. We moved out of our house and out of Louisville and Matt and his team cranked away. Matt was honest about where he thought the house would sell, made recommendations that we reasonable and we are glad we trusted him. There really is no reason why you shouldn't choose Matthew Hoagland as your realtor. He was right with us the entire time and took all of our concerns into consideration. Always has an answer, but if he doesn't he'll find one for you. We truly felt like his only client during the entire process. Integrity, camaraderie, and professionalism across the board.
