About Matt
Matt is involved with daily operations of all aspects of the company including appraisals, sales, auctions, and property management as well as being the Captain of Team Tarter. He began his realtor career in 1999. In 2001 he began a career in law enforcement while still actively working in real estate focusing on investment properties. During his 10 years in law enforcement, he was promoted from corrections all the way to Lt. Detective on the Drug Task Force.
The increase of demand and general growth of the real estate business brought him back to real estate in August of 2010. He and his wife, Jennifer, also own an investment group consisting of single and multi-family residential units in 5 counties in Indiana. He is a past member of the Rotary Club, Board of Directors for the Randolph County YMCA, Randolph Economic Development Board, and the City of Winchester Revolving Loan Fund Board.
He is a member of the Indiana Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Randolph, Delaware and Jay County Association of Realtors. In his spare time Matt likes to coach youth spots, take part in CrossFit training, and spend time with his family. He believes in the “Golden Rule” as it applies to life and business.
