I can't say enough about how much I appreciated the hard work that Nate, Andrew and the all the partners at Matt Winzenried Real Estate partners did to help us find our forever home. We were looking for a house here in WI while we were still living in Virginia. Due to job transfers in the family, we were in a tight timeframe to find a house and make the move happen quicker than I could imagine it would be done. I was worried we couldn't make it happen. Andrew worked with us to find the type of house, location and neighborhood we were hoping to be in. We had to rely on virtual tours with Andrew going to several houses and showing us the houses through FaceTime. He was very helpful in answering all our questions. Nate and his team were extremely helpful in guiding us through the closing process. We have been in our new house for almost a month now. We absolutely love our new home, the neighborhood and the area around it. They were able to find an ideal location that allows us to live close to our children's families and be close to friends. We are so grateful for this home and to be back in the Madison area! We know we have Andrew, Nate and the Matt Winzenried team to thank for that.

We had a great experience with Andrew Genin at Matt Winzenried Real Estate Partners! We were buying remotely, from California, and thus were going on "zoom tours". So we really needed someone who we felt confident in to assess the houses and let us know details that are hard to know when you're just watching on zoom (e.g., can the windows open? How are the outlets?). Andrew was great about noticing small details about a house, both good and bad. Furthermore, he helped us navigate the very "hot housing market" in Madison, and made sure to get us in early to go on tours, submit our offers quickly, and helped us navigate how to beat out multiple offers to get the home of our dreams. We've now worked with MWREP twice over the last 7 years or so. The first time around when we bought our first house, and we had such a great experience that we came back when it was time to sell our house and buy or next home. Andrew helped us buy both of our homes and we cannot speak more highly of our experience with him. He took time to really understand what we were looking for and helped us explore all options: looking deep into building and then eventually full steam ahead in buying an existing home. The market when we bought was still pretty crazy, but now that we've been in our new home about 6 months or so, we firmly believe we got the "right" house for us and that's thanks to Andrew's strategy and assistance. Additionally, Matt shepherded us through the house selling process. As first time sellers we were nervous and obviously new to the process. There were some hiccups and bumps along the road, but given interest rates suddenly rising right before we went on the market, the fact that we still closed less than two months from listing is remarkable. Matt and Andrew were always up for a phone call when we wanted to ask questions, talk strategy, etc. and never pushed us down a path we didn't feel comfortable with. Plus, they always have great customer appreciation events--and the whole team in general are friendly people who genuinely want you to find the right house/buyer for your needs. 10/10 would reccomend.

Our experience with Matt and the group was seamless and easy. We moved to the area from Kansas City and they did everything they could to make this process as simplified as possible.

We had one weekend where we flew up to the area to look at houses. Matt and his crew took their weekend so we could see over a dozen houses. At no point were we rushed and the group knew everything about each of the houses.

Once we made our decision on a house, the group ensured our transaction went extremely smooth. Matt even came to our house to check on it as we had a delay between the move. Nothing but positives to say about the whole experience.

Our realtor, John David Vasquez, was absolutely phenomenal. He took time to learn what we were looking for as we were not local during our search. He was so patient, available, as well as informative about any issues including doing virtual tours until we found the right property. He not only brought us up to speed on the market, he patiently instructed us on the contract forms, and taught us so many things about the entire process. In addition, it was extremely helpful that he is so knowledgeable about so many aspects of the properties including heating, electrical, water softener maintenance and issues, appliances as well as general condition of the windows and frames. He also pointed out potential upgrades that would best increase the value of the property for any future sale. In all our transactions, we have never come across a better real estate agent.

Matt and his team have been a pleasure to work with--friendly, responsive, and professional [but not stand-off-ish]. Matt took the time right off the bat to go over expectations every step of the way, from starting the search to closing the deal--it took out a lot of the mystery in the process of purchasing my first house back in 2017.

While viewing different properties, Matt was clearly knowledgeable on the current market and area. He was mindful of our budget and consistently reassured us that if we weren't comfortable with anything [offering over asking price, accepting terms of counter-offers, etc] to let him know. We ended up putting an offer in on a house that was under-listed in a highly-competitive area, but Matt was able to write up a strong offer that was accepted in a field of 10 other offers. He even took time away from watching the Badgers during a heated March Madness game late on a Friday night to help us make some final tough decisions!

Beyond his expertise, he has excellent rapport with folks in the area--other realtors, inspectors, contractors, general folks. Anyone that I've mentioned working with Matt to has had great things to say.

How have I not written a review for this group already? We will soon be working with them for our 4th(?!) transaction and both on the buying and selling end, this team has been PHENOMENAL to work with! Madeline, Ally, and Andrew are flexible and patient and offer great insight in helping to find the right home, and selling with Matt is a breeze - he knows the Madison area like the back of his hand and is a great judge for pricing your house right and making it sell quickly. Once you're ready to go to the next step, Brittnie walks you through the process and makes the transaction go as smoothly as possible. They make a stressful process into something you actually enjoy. An amazing team all around!

Being that it is the time of year when most people think the buying/selling season is in a lull, I thought this would be a good time to post this review. We sold our house on December 31st last year after only 1 open house. Matt and his team did a tremendous job making sure our house looked great for a young family/couple because that is what we were when we bought it.

Having twin 1 1/2 year olds made the house too small and keeping the house clean for multiple showings wasn't something we wanted to go through.

The MW team put on a great open house, we had a bunch of traffic and had an accepted offer by that night, which was a great cap off to our anniversary!

I can't thank Matt and his team enough for the work they do to make an extremely stressful life transition easy and smooth.

After the process, the communication continues as they hold various family and other social gatherings. Very knowledgeable, personable, and smart. They were very flexible and worked with our timelines and schedules, and they advised us without forcing anything on us. They have a professional stager and photographer come to help make the house look its best before listing, are very prompt with all responses and paperwork, and handled our quick closing great. In 2016 when my wife and I had finally decided to plant roots in the Madison Area, I was lucky to run into Matt Winzenried. I had joined a networking group and hit the lottery by him being present. I mentioned we were in the process or searching online for homes and were looking for a realtor for our first home purchase. Matt assigned his buyer's agent Andrew and he was a fantastic resource for any questions or concerns we had throughout the searching, offering, accepting, and closing processes. There were a lot of moving pieces and they were on top of every single one. The best way to describe the process with Matt's team is, "a customer focused experience from beginning to end". I have recommended this team to friends, family, strangers, and anyone who mentions they are looking to buy or sell a home at some point. Matt was fabulous. He approached us when we were trying to sell our home by owner. He did some digging, agreed he could list it for enough to get us the same number we were asking for plus his compensation. Not only did he deliver, but he had a buyer for us before we even went live with the property listing, and at what we were asking. The entire process took 6 weeks!!! Unbelievable service and we will certainly use them again.

Matt and his team did a great job of getting our condo sold in Madison. We were a little late to the market and a competing unit went up for sale the same day at an absurdly lower price. So, we didn't get as much interest as anticipated. Still, Matt was able to bring in a steady stream of potential buyers and we sold at our original estimate without having to drop our asking price. We had excellent communication between Matt, his team and myself despite my wife and I living in another state. I'd recommend Matt to anyone in the Madison area.
