About Matthew

Matthew has been a proud REALTOR® and member of the Missouri REALTORS® and the St. Charles REALTORS® Associations since 2012 and is a graduate of the St. Charles REALTORS® Leadership Academy, Class of 2019. Matthew is the 2022 St. Charles REALTORS® Board President. As the chair of the St. Charles REALTORS® PAC and a Crystal R. Major Investor in RPAC, Matthew shows his commitment to protecting private property rights and defending the American dream of homeownership throughout Missouri and the country. Currently he sits on the Government Affairs, RPAC and Finance committees within the association, as well as being a State Director with the Missouri REALTORS®.

Matthew began his real estate career in 2012 with Prudential Select Properties, which later became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties and he is now the Broker-Owner for Magnolia Real Estate, located in O’Fallon, MO. He currently manages 70 agents and looks forward to continuing to grow the Magnolia brokerage. As the broker for Magnolia, Matthew strives to lead his agents with integrity and respect and ensures that all of his agents understand and live by the REALTOR® Code of Ethics as well as the 7 Core Values of the company. In addition, he is still an actively producing agent, assisting individuals and families every day achieve the dream of home ownership.

Matthew spent 12 years as a civilian with the Missouri State Highway Patrol while building his real estate career and loved serving the citizens of Missouri. Of all his accomplishments in life, Matt is most proud of being a father to his three children, Kennedy, Jackson and Grant. He resides in Lake St. Louis with his husband, John, children and their Goldendoodle, Ladybird.

Tarah was quick to respond to our inquiry about finding a home. After frustrations with renting she made sure we had a smooth process with buying. She set realistic expectations and worked diligently to find a home that met our needs financially, structurally and in an ideal location. She was flexible when scheduling showings, walk throughs and at our closing. Tarah was reliable and had good connections when we needed professional consults for potential repairs and updates on the home. We have been in our home now for two months now and we could not be more in love. We had an excellent experience from start to finish and still utilize her now for various inquiries. Highly recommend Tarah to anyone looking at a home!
